Finally had the time to sit down and do my nails - though took much less time than driving to a salon, having my nails done, waiting for them to dry, and then driving home again (and my glass of win* was larger too! :) I've been lucky enough to have pretty nails for many years after having acrylics put on for about 6 months, 25 years ago, to stop me from biting my nails. Since I've gotten older, my nails have gotten much weaker, and I've been unable to have pretty nails for a year or so. But, this kit to the rescue!!! Everything I needed to build myself a lovely set of nails right in the comfort and privacy of my own home, and breaks and chips are easy enough too. Very happy with this set - and my restored nails. ;) --- I should mention that it's been 9 days and these are wearing very well. I prefer a lighter nail color, so I've redone the top coat but that's it.

It comes with nail forms for doing different styles and lengths of acrylics, and comes with glitter and carving powders for nail art. This Saviland Acrylic Nail Kit is a pretty good deal, for $26. I've tried a few other brands' of acrylic nail kits, that are similar to this kit. So, I do have something to compare this to. Costwise, it's a good deal, and is fairly good quality. It's a good for beginners, or if you just need to add/replace supplies. This kit has everything you'd need, to do your nails at home. The small nail lamp cures well. You can't cure an entire hand at once, using this lamp. Though, it works fine, since I typically finish each nail, before moving on to the next. I just prefer nail lamps that are a bit bigger. I've also used several other Saviland nail art products, too. Generally speaking, Saviland products are good quality, for the most part. The white, red, and black colored gels are pretty opaque. They, and base/top coat, apply smoothly, self level, and cure with no issues. I very much dislike that NO ingredients are listed on any of the gel polish bottles, nor on the boxes they came in. The liquid monomer also does not list ingredients. Products should always contain the list of ingredients on them. The 3 acrylic powder pots are the only products that list ingredients. These gel polishes are low odor. The monomer liquids can slowly evaporate in these containers, over time. I suggest keeping monomer containers capped very tightly, in storage. The liquid monomer often gives me a headache. Though, I do have a sensitive nose. I always use in a well ventilated area, when using any monomer. To me, this monomer is fairly stinky. Though, I can say I have smelled other brands of monomer, that smell a lot worse. Aside from many of the product containers not listing ingredients, I like do the kit.

If you are curious about doing your own nails or maybe your friends nails but getting all of the supplies seems scary and expensive...this is exactly what you need. You'll find everything you need in this kit to get gorgeous acrylic nails (with practice). Now, the main listing photo shows a huge amount of stuff, everything in the box is repeated a couple times in the picture. But there is a ton of stuff, from acrylic powders in a bunch of shades, nail forms, brushes, acrylic liquid, files, a drill, even a UV lamp. There are enough supplies for lots of practice, because it will take practice to get any good at achieving pretty nails. There are great directions included to start you off in the right direction. I'd recommend a few tutorials, as well. Then have fun!

I think this is a great beginner set for those trying to learn how to do acrylic nails at home. It comes with everything you would need including a nail lamp and a nail drill.
