I went to cosmetology school many years ago and was pretty good at doing acrylics back then. I haven’t done them since but my daughter needed to fill so I thought I would just order a cheap set and give it a try. It was just a total waste of money to be honest. When getting nail kits obviously the price should be a factor because when you get something super cheap it’s not going to work great. This just really wasn’t great quality and I should’ve known better but we decided to give it a try. If you want to get a good kit and really practice, I would suggest investing in something a little bit more.

I am a beginner and have been trying to learn how to do my own nails at home. This kit comes with a lot of great things to learn more about acrylic nails. Something important to remember is that you need a well ventilated area to use this in because the smell is very strong. Otherwise the product was easy to work with and lasted on my nails for about a week at a time.

The media could not be loaded. Just did my first application today as a beginner and i have to say I love the product!! (Check Temu tho it’s cheaper there didn’t realize until after I purchased this) ANYWHO the drill was a game changer for my nails, no one likes lumpy acrylic. Overall they came out cute, make sure you purchase tips if you intend on doing extensions. As you can see i made a few mistakes but this kit makes it easy to fix. The gel is also a lifesaver! Make sure to purchase other gel colors as well. Final thing, yes the acrylic is hard to work with!! Just make sure you are using ALOT of acrylic liquid and it will be easy to mold your acrylic :)
