This smells ok but I didn't like it on my guy and it definitely don't smell like the real thing 😁 so gave 3 stars because its a big bottle with free sample thing to so it would be good gift if you like how it smells. Thanks

Listen, I bought this when I was a little drunk and I thought I was getting a small sample size bottle of that cologne that John Depp does commercials for. I believe it’s called Säûvægè (sp)? So when it showed up and the box was big and heavy I got worried. I opened the box and it was NOT the John Depp cologne. It was Savage. Just Savage. Now don’t get me wrong. It smells just like Brut and kind of reminds me of my grandpa and simpler times. I have been wearing it. This was simply a case of me being just drunk enough to look at one thing and think it’s another. We’ve all been down that path a time or two. In the end, I have no complaints about Savage cologne. I think I’d rather smell like my grandpa than John Depp anyway. ... show more

I bought the expensive Sauvage by Dior last year on sale at Macys. I recently purchased Savage on Amazon which is a knockoff of Sauvage. I sprayed Sauvage on one arm, and Savage on the other. The scent is remakably very similar. In fact, my 33 year old son who was at my house when I did the comparison test, could not tell which one was the expensive Sauvage, and which was the inexpensive Savage.
