Sauvage is inspired by wild, open spaces; blue sky that covers rocky landscapes, hot under the desert sun. The fragrance is announced as radically fresh, raw and noble at the same time. The composition is reportedly prevalent with carefully selected natural ingredients. Fresh top notes of Calabria bergamot encounter ambroxan, obtained from precious ambergris, and its woody trail. One thing I question was I was able to peel off the barcode on the bottom. Maybe it was just a bad run on the packaging. Otherwise the cap lines up correctly. The bee on the inside looks correct. The batch codes match and is etched in the bottle as it is supposed to be although it is not as clean of an etching as the parfum bottle I have. The box looks off as the bee is bigger on the EDT box than on the parfum box I have. And it is more blue than black. The lettering on the bottle looks correct. (The Parfum I bought at Macy’s.) I got a compliment the first time I wore it. Now it an EDT so it does wear off in 4-5 hours but it still seems really good. The sent itself in the bottle of EDT does smell exactly like it is supposed to. So I would have to say that it the bottle and fragrance itself are most likely authentic. Just as an experiment o ordered a second bottle. On the second bottle the batch number is clear on the bottle and the box actually looks like it is supposed to. I've been wanting to order some purely because of Depp and this brand refusing to drop him for their commercials despite his controversy. Initially using it I was worried because it's very pungent and a little overpowering, but after a little while it becomes more subtle and a pretty good scent overall. Not my favorite, but definitely glad I bought the biggest bottle I could. :) ... show more
