The 2-inch 'binder rings' are excessively and unnecessarily large. The rings could be reduced by half (if not more) and still provide the same functionality of holding hundreds of pages seamlessly. Due to the excessive size, the rings arrived warped such that pages can't be flipped properly, which obviates the entire purpose of my purchase. Moreover, the edges of the clipboard are uneven. For the price I won't return the two sketchboards I ordered. Instead, I will write this review. They look used. Both boards were rough and scratched about 1/4 up from the lower edge. The top edge was torn and the corner slightly smashed on one board. The board easily flexed and not like the hard Masonite I am used to. It could be that the boards wore out in storage and handling.
