Its made very well and works well I just bought it for a kiddo w long hair which is an extra factor id have rather skipped or had it removable .. but this a really good quality spring. I am a purple lover and purple with glitter is even better. I didn't realize until I received the clipboard that there is a little holder for a pen/pencil. That is great because I was always losing my pencils trying to hook them on the side.
