My daughter kept asking for a doll house or something she could use to play with her 18inch dolls on. I wanted to get something that could still be used after the doll phase is over. The one thing I marked down for was that the middle shelf is permanent (I may have missed that in the description or reviews) so we had to adjust our measurements a bit but it still worked out. This product is really good no its not the sturdiest u cant expect 100% quality from a $50 shelf be realistic . However it does rock a bit but not to the point of fearing it will fall over , it was easy to assemble w the instructions given i saw a lot of people putting the bottom part backwards resulting the brown part of the wood boards facing forward it is probably because u were building ur shelf face forwar so the b and the c boards shoukd be switched and turned upside down . everything was good i did mess up towards the end i had done everythinf right but the backboard was so thin and when u read these reviews it says it's thinner than a science project board they werent lying it is super thin so i do reccomend buy a thicker one on the side if u want it to be more durable for u . i kinda put the backboard backwards so the brown part u can see it in the pic it supposed to face forwards not backwards . but nothing sticker paper cant fix . other than that .it was very good it looks very pretty ❤️❤️ perfect for my room pls ignore that i dont have a floor :) ... show more

Easy to put together with just 8 screws and a multitude of tiny nails (for the back). Sturdy enough, although I DID add inner braces to all 4 corners just to reinforce it. Nice faux wood color. Before I add books, I will paint the unfinished sides flat black for increased longevity.

She is a very sturdy book shelf. I did find putting it together difficult. The directions had me assemble it incorrectly. Toss the directions and do it yourself.

beautiful shelves, I have bought a lot of them. Some were slightly damaged, but these are the first ones to come with no screws and bolts to put the shelves together. Could someone send me a pack of parts to put the shelf up, please? or a full refund as they are useless without the screws and bolts. Thank You. The issue was resolved. This shelf was what you expect for the price and is just fine as is out of the box. Another reviewer mentioned adding wallpaper to the back. Big impact for minimal cost and work. I bought peel and stick wallpaper here on Amazon and the smoothing kit, and it went on the cardboard back easily.

Nice bookshelves. My only problem with them is the back peice was really floppy and started to tear down the seams really badly. I had to use duct tape to reinforce the seams or I would have ended up with three pieces instead of one. Other than that it was easy to assemble.

I wish these had one more shelf at the bottom, it's spaced a little awkward since the middle shelf is fixed. The color is nice and had the best packaging - all easy to open and recycle and sturdy - and the best instructions easy to follow. Little flimsy but these are cheaper bookshelves but exactly what I wanted for my small space ... show more
