Beautiful. Use for displaying pictures and collectables. It was relatively easy tout together, but directions should include type and size of drill bit and or screwdriver needed. I stripped some of the screws using the wrong size drill bit. Otherwise directions are pretty straight forward.

Arrived earlier than anticipated to my delight. Easy to put together with power screwdriver. Very sturdy but visually “light”. Metal color is mid-tone gold and mellow. This replaced a dark bakers rack and is an excellent exchange.

*Updated review* I received a new shelf right away! I have to say, I was super impressed how fast the seller corrected the issue. They didn't send new screws, and you can't re-use the screws if you take this apart because the screws strip when you're putting it together. You could buy new screws if you really wanted to. Once I got the new shelf, I didn't have to take anything apart, I just slid it on top of the damaged shelf (it's SUPER snug fitting and sounded like it scratched the paint so there's no going back once you put the new shelf on). The center shelf has a double shelf frame now and it's plenty sturdy. It looks great, the glass fits perfectly on top of the new shelf, and you would never know that there was an issue - It looks like a re-enforced middle shelf. I updated my review to 5 stars because of how fast the seller remedied the issue, the sturdiness of the shelf (I have 4 heavy glass containers on it), and how good the finished product looks. I added 2 new photos for your reference. Overall I'm super happy with my purchase and considering getting a 2nd one! *First review* I wanted to give it 5 stars but I had to give it only 3 for now....As other reviewers mentioned, the screws do not fit exactly right so you will need to use a power drill - problem solved. My issue was that one of the welds was broken making the shelf completely useless for holding any weight. I have messaged the seller and I'll update the review after I deal with them. If they resolve this quickly and easily then I will give this 5 stars. The color isn't a super bright gold, which I like. Overall I really like the piece and it fits perfectly for what I needed. It isnt that sturdy …. It also took me two months to get it together my own issues … arthritis and worst of all I got in December there were bent wrongly soldered framework ,not once but twice I had to contact the maker …. They were great resent items but took awhile because of Xmas …. If you have bad knees or hands no help think it over I’m still worried about the sturdiness … and hint , start assemble from the side rails and bottom to top brace so it does have sturdiness as you finish assembly goes much faster , I laid mine across the spare bed to screw shelf brackets on … from the bottom … that’s where they attach didn’t have to sit or bend … I think I got the fluke in fact I asked manufacturer… I shouldn’t have had to call twice for parts replaced … it’s attractive but it needs to be more stable and I checked it with a level . The glass is heavy and sturdy . I shall see . ... show more

Husband put this together in about 1 hr. It came packed securely and all hardware enclosed. I use this for my plant growing station with added grow lights. We did not put in the top glass shelf, as I needed the extra height for tall plants. This even came with a cable to secure unit to wall if necessary for safety, which we did not use. The satin/gold was the only color available at this price point and as it turns out, it is beautiful and elegant! All in all I love this shelving unit. ... show more
