  • Best set of trail running shoes on the market!
Size: 11.5 Color: Autumn/Amber
These traveling shoes have to be the best trail running shoes I’ve ever used. Perfect balance of cushion, stability, and durability of any running shoe I’ve used. I can trail run and scramble over boulders with safety and security. They fit my foot very well and never left any blisters. Didn’t need to break them in at all. ... show more

  • Quality shoes, decent style and color options.
Size: 11.5 Color: Wine/Kodiak
This is my 5th pair of Saucony shoes in the last 4 years, I bought other colors, not because the shoes wore out. I'm not the most active (these have more rugged "hiking" style of soles, which while I haven't used them for that I am confident they'd hold up to a decent hike that wouldn't require proper boots), but I've had days where I'm on my feet for several hours straight and they've been fine. I keep coming back to the brand due to the style/colors (I've received a lot of comments on this regard alone), and the fit and quality for the price. They've held up well, have good breathability (important as I live in Phoenix; in the winter a couple pairs of socks keeps my feet warm enough). I tend to keep shoes for years if possible, and these have held up. My oldest pair could use some new insoles and probably could use a proper cleaning, but a quick wipe down with some cleaning wipes makes them presentable again, and some baking soda to deodorize. ... show more

  • Comfortable and cushioning
Size: 11.5 Color: Autumn/Amber
These have become my go to walking shoes and easy hiking shoes. A good purchase.

  • nicely cushioned with great grip!
Size: 8 Color: Black/Shadow
I really love these new trail shoes! I had used the Peregrine 13’s quite happily for years, but the 15’s feel more cushioned and bouncy without giving up any of the grip and control.

  • Heel pain, Don’t recommend
Size: 10 Wide Color: Black/Shadow
Let me start off with I’m not a shoe expert nor a shoe snob. I wanted to start running trails and was led to this shoe. The quality is good. I wear a size 9 1/2 and after reading reviews, I decided to move up to a 10 wide. Reviews are right, these shoes are not wide at all. If you have a truly wide foot, I don’t recommend these for you. After putting these on in the house and standing for maybe 30 seconds, my heels started hurting. No exaggeration. I’ve never had a shoe do that. I went for one trail run and again, my heels and calves were killing me. I removed the insoles and that did the trick. These shoes have a heel to toe drop of 28mm (heel) to 24mm (toe). I was educated on this after the fact. Again, I’m no shoe enthusiast. They’ve held up well so far after 5-6 trail runs and have good grip on loose rocks and dirt and even ran in the rain/snow uphills with no problems. Nothing extreme though. I think these were $90 something so the value for the money wasn’t bad. I’ll keep using them until I save up for another shoe, thinking Altra to try a zero toe drop, low profile shoe. Been reading Born to Run and part 2, great books for distance runners. These shoes are also lightweight, not heavy at all. Based on the heel pain, I probably wouldn’t recommend them even though removing the insoles helped significantly. ... show more

  • Amazon’s recommended sizing on this one did not work for me
Size: 12 Wide Color: Black/Pearl
Seem to be good quality. Generally with Peregrines I order a 11 and use the standard width but some versions seem to be pretty narrow at times so I went with amazons recommendation to order a 12 wide. The size in length was perfect, but they were too wide and the fabric puckered when I cinched up the laces. I found another pair like better fit and (price wise) but if I was going to try to get the best fit I would probably try an 11.5 standard width. ... show more
