These Saucony Echelon shoes are essential!!!! I have been teaching 35 years and have worn these since 2007. That’s more than 1/2 my career!!! This latest version is a true favorite. These are orthotic friendly and comfortable! My feet feel secure and stable in my orthotic. This past year I tried a popular H - - - tennis shoe for the spring semester (JAN-May). My orthotic never felt fully stable in them. Plantar fasciitis and painful heel spur flaired up. I purchased these after school let out and with the help of physical therapy and THESE shoes, I am on the road to recovery before the next school year begins. My podiatrist and physical therapist both said these are good shoes for ME! I was told to wear them as much as I can during the day to get my foot back in good shape. These changed the game for my daily walks! They are comfortable, true to size, the backs come up a little high and do rub the backs of the heels but I assume they will be okay when they break in all the way

Love these shoes! This is my fourth pair of the Echelon shoes (9 and 10 versions). I have horrible plantar fasciitis and a bunnion. I have tried all the shoes for these problems... Hoka, Kuru, Orthofeet, New Balance, Asics, and Oofos and Saucony is the only one that consistently doesn't exacerbate the problems with my feet. They due run a bit wider than other shoes, especially in the toe box, but that is very helpful for me. I can wear them for all day walking situations like amusement parks and not have trouble with my plantar fasciitis. ... show more

I have plantar fasciitis, wide feet, and 2 bad knees. It is hard for me to find good fitting and comfortable shoes. Saucony has never disappointed. The arch support is amazing and the width runs true to size. I highly recommend these sneakers.

These are 1/3 as comfortable as my triumphs. I thought they look nicer but they are no where near as comfortable. I wish I could return them but I’ve worn them for about a week hoping they would break in better and they aren’t.
