These shoes are well made sports shoes for athletes. However, they do not look like sport shoes! This is appealing to me because I need a supportive shoe, but a shoe that can be worn with casual clothes. These are good for museum trekking, shopping, dining and any activity that requires walking, but is not an athletic event. I have had numerous people approach me and ask"Where did you get your shoes?' (I have worn Saucony shoes for years.) Saucony"s website or the name of a store is the answer. I have been wearing Saucony running shoes for over 15 years, from running 5K's to Marathons. I love Saucony shoes so much, it is my ONLY running shoe, and I persuaded my Mom to wear Sauconys as well when she started running Marathons with me. That said, I have worn one-size-up Sauconys throughout, given I need the extra space for long-distance running, and I've never really had an issue with the fit. I can even wear them for any-day activity without discomfort. So when I ordered and received these, I found that these were NOT quite "Fit as Expected." My big toe has a decent amount of "wiggle room," but past the "big toe" space, the rest of the toe space begins to narrow, giving it a more "pointy" shape, and tight space for the smaller toes, which causes a bit of discomfort. I would say that I was the only one with the problem, but my mom had the same issue, letting me know the toe area became too narrow, and would need a bigger size in this style. We ended up wearing them to run a half-marathon, but will not be using our typical "one-size-up" in this style for longer distances given our smaller toes kept gracing the front of the shoe and caused some discomfort. Other than that, I still love that they are LIGHT, and comfortable for more "normal" wear. I would just advise that if your toes are not a "pointy" shape to begin with, you would probably want to go with a different style Saucony ;) ... show more

    • These Saucony trainers fit well and are fun
This makes my 4th pair of trainers by Saucony. They are all different colors. The oldest, navy and turquoise, I bought in 2017. The next 2 pairs are solid colors, one pair red, one pair silver. I get lots of compliments on the red ones. I haven't worn these much yet, but they are comfortable and the colors are great. ... show more

These are really comfortable shoes and so far the support is exactly what I was looking for in a athletic shoe. I have a narrow foot and these fit nicely. If you have a wide foot you may need a wider shoe.

Very happy with these shoes. Didn’t even have to break them in, and I have been running and working out with them since day one. I was alittle skeptical at first because they were really cheap, but after a year of wearing them everyday for 10 hr shifts, constantly on my feet, they have survived better than any other tennis shoes I've tried and my feet never hurt like with other shoes. As the pictures show, they are very worn now and have definitely seen better days, but the sole is still in excellent shape and the shoes still give me no pain. Will buy again! ... show more

    • Disappointing “Versafoam”

First of all, Saucony is my favorite tennis shoe brand to wear. I’ve owned lots of pairs of tennis shoes made by Saucony from running shoes to jazz dance shoes and they have always been my go-to Brand for tennis shoes. As I have gotten older, I am noticing that my feet hurt more and more, I own a greenhouse nursery and am on my feet all day, almost everyday. I’m noticing some pains in my feet that I didn’t have before. Most of my jobs throughout my adulthood have been jobs where I had to stand/walk a lot so I’m no stranger to foot fatigue. Being that these shoes are labeled “Versafoam” I assumed they would have arch support and feel like walking on a light, squishy cloud. NO, NO, NO!! For some odd reason, Saucony has used an extremely thin insert (see picture) and underneath the insert is a HARD platform. Yes, the sole of this tennis shoe is Versafoam, but what good is this foam when you use a hard platform on top of the foam?!?! So, you’re basically walking on a very thin insert which is on top of a hard platform which is on top of Versafoam. Poor design and definitely not what I had expected in a Saucony shoe. I had high hopes for these tennies but sadly am disappointed that they are not comfortable like I would expect a Versafoam type shoe to be.
