  • Great traction, light weight
Size: 12.5 Color: Finesse Black
These are excellent, neutral trail shoes. Not much drop and not a lot of extra cushioning. They are quick and good for racing. The traction is about the best of any trail shoe. Holds well in mud. No slipping. The run a big large. I normally wear size 13 running shoes in all other brands. For these, the size 13 was too big. I ordered size 12.5 and it is perfect. ... show more

  • May be the most comfortable trail runners I have ever purchased.
Size: 10 Color: Vapor/Poppy
Great shoes! I have tried Salomon, PUMA, ASICS, and Brooks, and these may be the most comfortable trail runners I have ever purchased. Construction is strong, stable, and they look great. Haven't done too much in or near water, so cannot say much about waterproofness. Hopefully they'll hold up as long as the others. ... show more

  • Great Trail Shoes
Size: 9.5 Color: Agave/Basalt
Bought for a spartan race. These breathe well, have insane grip and awesome support. Even though they hold up well to serious OCR abuse, they remain comfortable. Fit was true to size.

  • Color way is ehh..
Size: 12.5 Color: Wood/Fossil
I ran some short test runs on trail with these about 30 miles. Then I ran a 50 mile race in them with 8k of vertical. The shoe has a good lock down at the ankle. Used xoskin toe sock with a darn tough sock over those. No issues, shoe gives good ground feel, great grip, it was dry feet did not feel hot. I did not get them wet so not sure how they dry. Seem durable with no issues 80 miles. First time in shoes with no blisters, I think the lock down is the key. It takes a few runs to get the footbed seated to your foot. Good shoe! 8-10 for trail running. ... show more

  • Great and very comfortable shoes!
Size: 11 Color: Fog/Clay
I love Saucony shoes in general because of how comfortable they are. These provide the same level of comfort as their running shoe line but with the capability for trail hiking/running. Also, the profile is lower which I prefer when hiking. Not a zero drop like the Altra’s but not very steep either.

  • Very comfortable, responsive light and grippy
Size: 12 Color: Fog/Clay
10/10 upper comfort 9/10 light weight 9/10 grip More responsive than cushioned but not uncomfortable under foot. Really a pleasure to run in. Protects from rocks and roots. Can get it up to a good pace. Not the most cushioned for a long, slow run or if hiking with them. They climb easily and don’t feel too stiff. ... show more

  • Terrible shoe and inconsistent sizing
I've worn Saucony running and trail shoes for a LONG time. I bought these lined, waterproof shoes especially for a trip where I was expecting to run into wet and sandy conditions, hoping to keep the water and sand out. I bought these shoes well ahead of my trip and found them to be very stiff and inflexible. For years I've worn men's size 10.5 and went to my local retailers to try them on. Only one retailer had one pair in my normal size, and no adjacent sizes, but the one pair in 10.5 had a footbed defect! Because my local retailer's did not stock a defect-free shoe in my normal size, I purchased a pair from Amazon and a second pair from Saucony directly, both in my normal size. They seemed a little tight when I wore them around the house but not enough to be concerned. After what I thought would be a sufficient break in period, I wore them on an extended hiking trip. Was I sorry!! The heels are very stiff and gave me blisters on both feet. The toe box is very tight and wrapped in a stiff outside plastic material that is very unforgiving compared to a 'normal' running or trail shoe. My toes went numb and turned red from constantly pushing against the end of the shoe. I talked to a Saucony rep about this and she confirmed that these lined waterproof shoes run small! Why doesn't Saucony tell you this in the product information? Or why not make them a little bigger inside to compensate for the extra fabric and stiffness?? I contacted Saucony about this and they offered no exchange or return of my shoes. I DO NOT recommend these shoes and think that Saucony is side-stepping good customer relations. I will give serious consideration to avoiding all Saucony shoes in the future. ... show more
