Far too many chargers have the older Type-A connectors, which do not support the PD standard. This has all USB-C ports, lots of wattage, and each port supports the PD standard. Very very nice. It's been working great for me at my desk; phone, watch, laptops (work and personal), tablet, camera, etc. Everything has been charging well, with no issues.

This thing has some heft to it so I'm not sure it'd be ideal for traveling. I would probably say it's heavier than a laptop. However, for at home use, it is wonderful. It does fast charge. I was really skeptical because this product cost 3x more than the cheap generic brands but it was highly reviewed and I'm glad I brought this because it gives me peace of mind, especially since I'm pushing that much power to my electronics.

Was looking for a reliable multiport USB-C charger with GaN and this is almost perfect. I have a lot of tech at my desk that needs chargers and instead of having 6 individual chargers/charging bricks, I just have this. My setup is: 1. MacBook Pro 16" laptop (connected to KVM switch) 2. Anker PowerWave Go 3-in-1 charger (for wireless charging iPhone, Apple Watch, and Airpods) 3. iVanky Steam deck dock 4. iPad 5. iPhone 6. Open for whatever accessory needs charging (mouse/keyboard/bluetooth speaker) One issue is that as soon as you plug in a new device, it seems when the charger changes the wattage based on how many devices are plugged in, it affects my KVM switch and causes it to switch to a different input. For example, I plug in my mouse to charge, and the Satechi changes the wattages, and for a moment my KVM switch switches input because it thinks my laptop is no longer attached to power. It's just a momentary thing, but over the span of a day when I'm plugging in and unplugging my phone or other devices, it adds up. Other than that, I'm very satisfied. I love the stand to make it vertical as it saves desk space. It provides all the power I need for all my devices. No coil whine noticed and it gets warm, but not hot to touch. Amazing value if you need a 6 USB-C port charger!

Stick with Anker. Satechi is junk. This thing feels heavy and that it might actually do what it says. But if it can barely handle my iPhone 15 and my Apple Watch at the same time. It starts hissing and popping and cracking, and I have to switch around to different ports for it to work. 2 ports simply will not work after less than 30 days of usage. Tried different cables and different outlets around the house. No change.

I have bought a second one of these. My first one works great, I just left it at my house in the Philippines. The one there gets a lot of abuse, it has been left on an open terrace for about 6 months now, and it is in almost constant use, all kinds of phones and devices all day long, and it still holds up like a champ. So when I needed more charging ports here in the house, I naturally got another one of these. And this one is used a bit gentler, but still powers up whatever I need whenever I need it, and does it quick. Great little charger, for home or travel use, I would highly recommend this.

The quality is great. Nice texture and minimalist design. It charges fast and does not get hot. This is one of the few chargers I tested that does not reconnect when multiple devices are plugged in / unplugged. Tested with different devices, and they all work: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (45W, supports Super Fast Charging 2.0) iPhone 14 Pro Max (29W) MacBook Pro 14 (100W) Dell XPS 13 9310 (45W) ROG Ally (65W, supports 30W Turbo Mode) The stand is plastic but usable, and the 2 prong cord is quite short. LED is too bright so I had to cover it with a tape. Overall, nice product.

We have 2 10 port anker charges (one for home and one for travel) but as devices get more powerful and start to switch to USB C, we knew we'd have to pull the plug and make the investment on a USB C hub. We loved the look of this one and how clear it was to understand the shared wattage (it says it on the box, the manual, everywhere) the fact that you could charge iPads, MacBooks, etc. but as soon as we received it we quickly realized this model's #1 issue..... IT'S HEAVY, VERY HEAVY, SUPER HEAVY. I didn't think it would be heavy when I ordered it because it had a stand, I truly don't understand the stand.... I know the model is rounded, but it's so heavy that if they'd put feet, it would've stood up right just fine. Because we wanted the option to use it for travel, we decided to return it.
