I’ve been using this charger for about a year and recently replaced it. It looks great. It charges an iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 via Lightning Cable rapidly and consistently. It doesn’t charge at top speed via MagSafe and since day one it won’t maintain connection when plugged it. I think the spring in the center contact is too strong, pushing it out, requiring constant pushing in to ensure it charges connected devices. ... show more

I've had no problems charging two iPhones at the same time using the Satechi USB-C PD car charger. I haven't tried it with any other device, but I'm sure it'd be fine with an iPad too. The build quality is a lot higher than what you normally see from car chargers. I have a single-port Belkin USB-C PD charger and the Satechi feels much nicer. While it's not tiny in size, the Satechi charger doesn't jut out too far from the car's power port. This is a nice little charger! It is sleek and looks great. Seems very well made. The best feature is that it has two charging ports for USB-C. Both my iPad and my Samsung use this so it is very handy and very needed in my vehicle.

I'm really glad that Satechi made this because I was already searching for a multi-port, USB C charger for my car. I wanted this because it matches my magnetic wireless charger that attaches onto my A/C vents, since this already needs one USB C port to work, I knew that a dual-port charger would be what I needed to get. There aren't as many car chargers as there are wall chargers featuring 2x USB C ports, maybe because cars don't output as much power as what you get from a wall socket. I'm honestly not sure. Only a handful of brands make these kind of car chargers without going over to the less reputable brands that no one has ever heard of and that might not be that safe to charge your $1,000 smartphone with. This one from Satechi is really beautiful, being made from a solid aluminum exterior that is space gray in color, it looks like it was designed to charge Apple products. This is perfect for charging two iPhones together at full speed, or for powering a MagSafe compatible charger like mine, while still having a free USB C port for when another person rides with you. I wanted to like this charger because it has two 20W USB-C ports so both the driver and passenger can charge their phones at the same time. Both of our phones use USB-C Power Delivery fast charging, which is an international standard. Unfortunately, this charger does not work with my Google Pixel 6 phone. My phone does work properly with UL Certified USB Power Delivery chargers that I own. This charger is not certified. My phone is somewhat finicky about working with chargers that do not strictly satisfy the charging standards. ... show more
