I bought these to act as swim shorts and swimsuit cover-up for an upcoming vacation. One of the reviews mentioned that these dry quickly so will work for that. I have bought so many pairs of 'swim shorts' and can never find any that fit right or are flattering in any way - until these. They have a high rise, have sort of a 'cling fit' that is very comfortable, and are a nice length for those with chunky thighs. Very flattering for this bod -- I have a thick waist and belly and big thighs, and these lay just right to de-accentuate those features. They're not tight like bike shorts, but not flowy and loose either. They have a little movement on the thighs. Wearing these shorts will help me focus on the beach and having fun instead of being self conscious the whole time. Ordered another pair - now have the black and brown. These are awesome for cardio drumming and softball. Not too short..although my thighs still manage to eat them occasionally. When I orginally put on I could hear some fabric stretching/snapping. I’m 23, a bit younger than a lot of the reviews I saw and wanted to give my opinion! I’m 5’5 and 180 lbs. I deliver for Amazon in Arizona in the 118 degree heat and the shorts they give women don’t ever fit. My normal sizing is Large but I got these in an XL in the grey color originally and wore them all day and not a single sweat spot showed up. That’s right…. No butt or crotch sweat. Keep in mind I’m an avid lululemon fan, the materiel is such a nice quality. They were a little big around the waist so I ordered a large in black and they’re perfect! These are true to size- order YOUR original size. I’m able to work my 10 hour shifts so comfortably. For a girl with thick thighs a bigger butt, these do not ride up like every other shorts. They do a tiny cause of the friction but I don’t find myself needing to adjust them at all. They’re high waisted but they don’t squeeze you, it’s the right amount of support. And the fricken pockets?! Genius, they’re large enough for me to stuff things in that I need for work. These were such a lucky find and would be a good piece to anyone’s closet. ... show more
