Bought these because I was tired of wearing regular sneakers, and I’m not a serious cyclist to buy clips. I didn’t see a women’s option so I decided to buy. I just tested these out and they’re definitely much better for my rides (6-10 miles each ride). I wear a size 10 in women’s, but I buy a size 10.5 in running shoes because my feet can swell. I use toe clips because I ride partially on a busy road and I need to stop when needed. I wear regular running shoes but also tried regular bike shoes. The rubber shoes felt too soft while the bike shoes didn't offer any traction when i need to do a stop and go. It was also too stiff that when there's a bump on the road my feet fall off the pedal quickly. These shoes are perfect for me, offering traction when pushing my bike with my feet and are stiff enough for good energy transfer. Looks good. Works well with my toe clips. It is made of leatherette aka faux leather. I usually wear 10.5 shoes, i ordered size 11 and theres probably half inch extra space and fits well. I'm new to road cycling and don't feel ready for the clip-in shoes. However, I wanted a shoe with a more rigid sole and this pair works great for my needs. I read other reviews that said to order a size larger; I only ordered a 1/2 size larger and they fit perfect.

Love the versatility I get so I can use them on my spin bike (during bad riding weather) and on the regular road bike. Provide support where needed on the pedals. Very comfortable and the sizing is what you would expect.

I was really concerned about finding a riding shoe to fit my semi wide feet. After looking at 30-40 different pairs ranging up to $250 I decided on these. So glad I did! They fit better than expected and feel like riding shoes should! Great price and seams to be great quality for the price range, sure a $300 pair might be a little better quality but for looks and fitment these are perfect! True to size as well. The design of the shoe meets my expectations. The shoe is stiff around the toes and can be tightened to fit the wearer's comfort on other areas of the foot. The shoe is not designed to clip onto the pedal despite the appearance of the sole. The shoe does, however, run exceptionally small. After two attempts I have yet to get the correct size for myself. I initially ordered 1/2 size larger than I thought I might need, then I ordered a full size larger. The shoe is still a snug fit which might be tolerable for short rides with thin socks. I hate buying shoes and I hate having to buy new cycling shoes. But with the free return, and reading other reviews, I went with these and I'm glad I did. I don't use clips, I still have toe clips on my '87 vintage road bike and just wanted something that was flat, had good fit and was firm enough to mash when I wanted- these do it. Works as expected in providing solid pedal support & comfort. I was concerned the 2 flaps on each shoe used for tightening the shoe to the foot may not slide easily into the rat traps but that hasn’t been much of an issue. I can walk on these fairly normally. The instructions indicate there might be a model with different tightening design that may have been better but I didn’t see that on Amazon-some sort of wheel to tighten the shoes. ... show more
