Bought this leash to fit on my new surfboard. After a couple weeks surfing without the leash, this leash has made all the difference in my surfing abilities. The leash is long enough, the cuff stays attached securely, and the design of the cuff allows the leash to move around without impact the surfer too much. As long as you don't dry out the leash while it is wrapped tightly around the board, the leash does not tangle in the water. This has been a great and reasonably priced purchase for my surf repetorie.

Best replacement leash for your softop
Size: 8 feet
As much as I love Wavestorms for anything under 3’ Hawaiian, they have the worst leashes ever and they always end up snapping or the Velcro stops sticking and leaves me swimming in and picking up my board from the reef. This leash is a great replacement. Velcro sticks way better than the regular leash and I already ordered another one for back up. The real test will be after I’ve used it for a while but as of now, I love it.

Good entry level leash, great price

Good quality and a good price. It's never come undone yet. Take note, I use this leash on my foamie, not on my glassed board. It has no rail-saver meaning that in a rough wipeout, the leash can be jerked against the rear edge of the board and inflict damage to the rails or tail. I surfed for years without a rail saver and never had that happen but it's always possible, especially on bigger waves than the 1-5ft I called home. If you have a custom or hand-shaped PU glassed board that you laid some serious money out for, do yourself a favor and spend another $10 for one with the rail saver. If not, this is a good leash at a seriously low price.

Great product!

I bought this for my wavestorm surfboard and it was extremely easy to attach and use! The leash stays on well and isn’t painful like some other leashes I have tried in the past. The length also makes it more convenient when carrying around in the water and on land. I would highly recommend if you need to replace your leash.

Not durable, twists up constantly

This leash just broke clean off. I purchased last year but only used it for a couple of months in the summer with my board. Not high quality and constantly twists up and tangles. When I purchase a product, I’m looking for durability over time and not something that breaks after a couple months of use. Disappointed with the quality. I would recommend you spring for a well-known surf brand leash, and not this.

It's ok for the price

It's cheap and gets there job done, but the heat shrink sleave they used was not sized properly and it didnt even encase the whole strap. I tried to heat it myself just so it wouldnt look so bad but i ended up melting the nylon rope and had to re-tie it together. You might be better off getting a better strap ifs only a little bit more money.

Standard Leash & Good Value

I got a used surfboard recently & wanted a new leash. This is pretty basic but works fine. I've got 2 try it out in the wavepool a couple times. I get it tangled around my legs quite often while walking & swimming but it hasn't seemed 2 affect riding the board yet. I would buy it again.
