With an old-fashioned kitchen sink that doesn't fit most drainers and no countertop, I decided to try an over-the-sink version. Problem is, the sliding parts that rest on the sink are VERY moveable, even when I don't want them to; so, with 3 incidents of the whole thing falling into the porcelain sink and 3 broken dish results, I had to jury-rig the thing so the slides would stay put. The other problem is that the dish supports hold the dishes a little too upright so they're inclined to pitch over forward. With such a small area for stacking bowls and glasses, that could result in more broken items. Bottom line: I'm sold on the concept, but this model leaves a few things to be desired. ... show more
