Class 4 speed is perfectly adequate for standard photo shooting and casual HD video. It is not going to win any speed contests against UHS-I cards, so if you are doing burst shooting or 4K video, size up to something faster. For everyday stills and general storage it performs without complaint. Durability is a genuine SanDisk strong suit. The card is rated waterproof, shockproof, temperature proof, and X-ray proof, and the built-in write-protect switch is a handy touch for protecting shots you do not want overwritten accidentally. The frustration-free packaging is also a nice change of pace. No clamshell plastic fighting back. At this price point the value is hard to argue with. Picked up this SanDisk card for my camera and it’s been rock solid. No issues with read/write speeds, and 16GB holds plenty of photos from weekend trips. I generally buy SanDisk SD cards a lot as I am a notorious over-shooter and I never erase my cards. They work perfectly fine for my everyday life which is generally just pictures of my children. Even shooting raw HD high quality pictures there is a ton of space on here. The card I received is a class 4, which is fine for my needs. It will shoot at normal speed and write immediately and will record full HD video. When I need to do continuous shooting I switch to a higher class card, but again this one will do what the average person wants. I have had a few issues with this card saying that it is corrupted and I have to remove the card and try again, but it doesn’t happen too often. For the price, I can deal with this. The thing that I found odd is when I received this it didn’t come with any packaging or the clear plastic case. I don’t know if this is limited to the particular seller I went through (honestly I never even looked or gave it any thought when I ordered) but I guess it is something worth considering when deciding whether or not to purchase this online. Overall, I do still like SanDisk for my everyday needs, but I think in the future I will make the trip to the store so I know exactly what I am getting. No disclosure needed - I am a “reviewer” of Amazon products and often get things at a discount, however this item I have bought at FULL price for my own personal use.
