    • Excellent for sports photography — but fills up quickly.
I own a Canon R7 for sports photography. It can take up to 34 shots per second. The problem with cheaper cards is that they can’t write the photos fast enough, causing a lag and a 3-4 second delay. A lot can happen In those 4 seconds — I’m missing the ability to take more shots!! It’s beyond frustrating. Not with this card. The write speed is fast enough and I never miss a shot. The problem is, I run out of room on the card. Not the card’s fault — I just need to spend $$$$ for a bigger card with the same write speed. This high speed card is just what I was looking for. Would have liked to get more than 32gb but my camera doesn't take more than that.

    • Fast and reliable with my point and shoot
I was using an older SD card that had 90 mb/s writing speed as opposed to this one's 300 mb/s speed. I was constantly waiting for burst photos and videos to write to the older SD card. As soon as I upgraded to this new one, it was pretty magical not having to wait those few agonizing seconds between shots. If you're on the fence and in a similar situation as me, I highly recommend making the jump! I've used SanDisk cards for years and they have never failed. This latest design (UHS-II) is Fast! It's backwards compatible but for popping into your computer, but make sure your camera or primary device is UHS-II compatible otherwise don't spend the extra money for UHS-II. Very quick write speed memory card. I used this on my Canon 5D III and it is amazing at how fast it writes and does the playback on. They are a bit pricey still, but 300 mbs is worth the price.
