I did not iron them before. I gathered the tableclothes and shook off any food crumbs outside after the event. I brought them home and washed them the next day in warm water gentle cycle, drying them on a low heat cycle. They are polyester and I googled how to wash them. No instructions in the box. I bought these for all of the showers I usually throw. They are a great size and the material is good for the price. I have not had to battle a stain yet, but I'm sure it would come out in the wash if needed. They aren't super thick, but will cover any color table just fine. They came folded and immediately lost all creases once I set them out. I'm assuming they have some type of material blend that is wrinkle-free, but I could be wrong! ... show more

Fabric feels nice, it’s not very thick though. At night it looks pretty but during the day you can definitely see what’s below just in case you’re trying to hide a not so nice table. But it does the job of protecting the table. I would iron it low temperature

I like these. I was tired of getting nicer ones cause with little kids and everyday use it was always getting stained. These will obviously get dirty but I don’t have to worrry about stains not coming off and it being a waste of money.
