Perfect for my home office setup. I work in business/finance, transitioned from two screens to this single wide screen with some apprehension. I love the singe wide screen way more than two monitors now. The resolution is so high I can have multiple windows open and visible. Using the “snap” window functionality makes it super easy to get one window on half and the other window on the other half, just like two monitors… but then I can go back to one ultra wide seamless window. Works better than expected. I also appreciate the USB hub on the back to minimize cord clutter. Super clean setup. Plus the power for my laptop is the same USB-C connection for the monitor.

Review for the SAMSUNG Viewfinity S65UA Series 34-Inch Ultrawide model. This is a great monitor but you may want to keep a few things in mind. This is rated for 100hz refresh rate, however, if you have a laptop with integrated Intel graphics, you will only see 60hz refresh and you may get a warning that it isn't set up to optimal resolution. The warning goes away and it will work just fine. You will need device with an Nvidia or AMD graphics card to take full advantage. The one USB-C cable 'docking' feature is awesome. Cable is included. Charges your laptop. Clean setup. Windows 11 makes it super easy and clean to split screen in many configurations without any 3rd party app. I was expecting a little more in terms of build quality for a monitor this price but it isn't bad.

Love this monitor. It's like having two monitors in one. I am able to view two different programs at a time. With this monitor, I got rid of my two regular sized monitors, and the mounting arms. Plus I have less cords with fewer monitors. Color is good and I've had it 6 months with no display issues. Would def purchase again.

This monitor is amazing for work and play. I've tested with a Mac and with a Windows PC. Initial order of this had a defect on the screen, which was just a visual dark mark across part of the screen that didn't affect performance, but did not seem to diminish over time. I did have to return it , but the replacement came 48 hours later and had no defect and I could continue on. I have been unable to get this to get this past 50hz on my Mac, however on my Windows PC I'm able to get it 100hz HDR with no problem, and have run it through its paces. As a daily monitor it's great, browsing, videos, coding all with no issue, and I'm sold on the idea of 34"+ curved monitors for work spaces in the future as opposed to dual monitor. Gaming is a little overwhelming on a monitor of this size, but it's been able to handle the paces of my RTX 4070 w/ no issue and quite fun. Now I have nothing to compare this to other than an older Acer Predator XB270HU, but the SAMSUNG Viewfinity S65UA is brighter than that, though obviously with eye-protection does dim/dull it a little. I highly suggest this especially at the price-point its set at ~599 US Pros: - Visually stunning monitor - Works with both Mac and Windows - Impressively Light Cons: - Initial defect with first, replacement had no defect. So is this really a con?

I knew it wouldn’t be good when I opened the box and the styrofoam was broken. When I plugged in the monitor and powered it up there was a huge crack and dead pixels. If I were to guess the box had too much weight on it at some point, because there were no visible drop signs to the box itself. I actually have this monitor at work so I thought it would be a good option at home since I’m used to it and have seen the performance. I would say if you bought this monitor for anything but serious gaming you would likely be happy with it, with one caveat. I bought this because it advertises multi-computer “kvm” - type switching. However, it’s not a true switch and only allows you to use the keyboard and mouse connected for the computer that is connected via the usb-c input. When I tried to hook up my work laptop, no matter how I tried to vary the connections, it would not recognize the keyboard/mouse. Not to mention it didn’t have an upstream usb input. It really only helps with cable management/clutter. So if you want a true built in KVM, I would not recommend this monitor. On the positive side, since it was broken I returned this monitor and got the Dell 3423DWC. not only was it $30 cheaper, the kvm worked as advertised. In the end for a single computer use-case I would’ve been completely satisfied. But honestly for the price, you would likely find the same performance in the mid-$300 range from competitors and even Samsung’s own offerings.
