This is a really solid mid-to-high performance microSD card that hits a sweet spot between speed, reliability, and price. The speeds are the highlight. With up to 200 MB/s read and 130 MB/s write, it’s noticeably faster than older or budget cards, especially when transferring files or loading games. This MicroSD is excellent and fast. I use it for image transfers and occasional video transfers. Samsung tends to make good quality products and generally stands behind their products, at least in my experience. 256GB of fast data transfers is perfect for my on the go. When I am not taking photos I can pop it in to my Mp3 player and view the images I took or listen to music. High quality product for the value. Just a note, be careful, like all MicroSD they are small and easy to loose when trying to eject from a spring loaded devices. ... show more

Its an okay SD card I guess. It has a write speed of 130 MB/s and read speed of 200MB/s max. Those numbers are nothing amazing and you can get SD cards with the same storage with faster speeds. I use it on my switch. Its works fine and Samsung is a name you can generally trust so there is a piece of mind there. Most games load okay. Just be patient with load screens if your game has a lot of those. Its good for extra storage but if you need the most speed look elsewhere. At the time of writing this review, this is not priced properly as there are similar storage SD card options from trustable name brands with higher speeds. So if you find this at a good price, you can get it and it will probably serve you well. ... show more

This SD card is amazingly fast at reading and writing I use it for my drone and it has no problems transferring data super quickly and the images it's the rewrite speed on this thing is amazing and it's got tons of storage 256 for a drone is you know that's a lot of 5K video. Samsung is top of the line and everything that they do so these things are high quality so they're a little bit more expensive but the value is definitely there because when you go to retrieve your data it's going to still be there and not ghost you like other off brand cards so h g⁹ ... show more

It is affordable, seems dependable (its a Samsung) - and so far- my outdoor security camera has had no problems recording to it. I check my cameras every day and the playback is right on. This is a nice fast card, but you are paying a very premium price for the name, and not entirely sure you are getting your best ROI. I used this card to create a Win11 install USB, and to transfer files off an older laptop I was working on for a friend, With a USB adapter and a USB 3.0 port I was getting plenty fast transfer speeds, and this card will be used in a "action"l camera that has 4k and should benefit from the high transfer rate, but other than the Samsung name its a pretty standard little card. I really feel that this is a 3.5 review at best - Sandisk and other makers offer similar cards/speeds/capacities for much more reasonable prices nowadays. At nearly 100.00 per cards (April 2026) I would rather look for equivalent specs from less prestigious brand names. ... show more
