The card is pretty easy to install, just plug it into the slot at the bottom and you're done. The Switch 2 will recognize the card is installed and let you move games from internal storage to external storage as needed. It seems to be quite fast. I can't discern any differences in loading time from games loaded on the card. So it works just as you'd expect. The card is pretty useful because after transferring all my Switch 1 games to the Switch 2 I ran out of internal memory pretty quickly. I'm sure in the future I'll need to upgrade to a 512GB card but for now 256GB is more than enough.

Although pricey, it works great. I accidentally bought the one for the Switch 1. Make sure it says 'express'. At least I could use the one i bought for my Switch 1. Card is micro, so don't open until you're gonna use it. Also, it's really easy to open. I don't use the crescent flap. I feel for the end of the plastic and cut up the side and across the top. It's a lot easier (for me). Got it open in seconds. I did see cheaper ones, but its always a gamble. Not in the price but the quality. Not that this is 'so' much better. I've bought 3rd party items on Amazon and sometimes its great and sometimes it junk. Do you! Hope this review helps.

I purchased this product for my Nintendo Switch 2 to expand the internal storage. First time hearing about Micro SD Express... As it only fits for NS2 so I did not have a choice. It exactly fits in NS2 and works like a charm. Very fast and did not experience any glitches or lagging from the card. Only downside is that it is very expensive as it is proprietary to the console and new, but I believe it will get cheaper down the road.

Here's one of the few new SD micro card expresses on Amazon that is Nintendo and Mario approved for use on the Switch 2. Of course you can't use your old memory card from the original Switch. So I had to go out and grab a brand new one because there's just not enough memory on that new console even at launch. This is literally plug and play, after placing it in the Switch 2, there was a minor update and I was ready to go. The console recognized it easily and I now have double the memory on my new system. Hopefully they'll start selling some bigger cards in the future for the Switch 2 but till then, this bad boy had got me back in business.
