    • Eh, just okay. I've found a better sound bar.
Firstly, I didn't realize I was purchasing a refurbished unit. It wasn't until the box arrived that I saw the big, red, sticker that read "REFURBISHED" on the outside. Though I was displeased it wasn't brand new, I went ahead and unboxed the unit and set it up. The instructions were near impossible to read. They looked liked they'd been xeroxed a million times, so the print was faint/ washed out. I had to find set up instructions on the Samsung support website. After I managed to get the sound bar and speakers physically connected, and subroofer connected to those via WIFI, I found the two smaller speakers weren't emitting any sound. Thus, I ended up on the phone with Samsung support. They walked me through some troubleshooting and basically concluded the two smaller speakers were defective and told me the whole unit would have to be replaced. I alerted Amazon and they sent me another refurbished unit. I hooked up the second one but found the sub roofer on the replacement wasn't working. So, on a hunch, I went back to the first sound bar and replaced the 1st set of mini speakers with the 2nd set. This worked. The overall sound is still sub par, but using this product has somewhat improved my audio experience. It works best when playing music, or scenes with music. But regular dialogue between characters in movies and TV shows still sounds unsually low. And sometimes I have to strain to hear during the day when there's noise from motorcycles and other traffic outside my windows -- even when the sound bar is turned all the way up to 100. I was in best buy the other day and happened to wander over to the TV section where they had different (more expensive) sound bars on display. The sales agent let me play with some options and the NOVO sound bar blew my lil refurbished sound bar outta the water! When I move, I plan to give my Samsung sound bar away and go buy the better one from best buy. My advice, buy this unit brand new. If you can't afford to, that's cool. Just manage your expectations about what this sound bar can and cannot do, and maybe be prepared for all of its components to not work.... ... show more

    • Very good Bluetooth speakers with a caveat
These Samsung speakers work very well with my Samsung Smart TV with one exception. The remote rear speakers are tiny and do not produce much sound. I immediately hooked up some spare 8 in speakers I had to the remote unit and the sound now is wonderful. Consumers should be warned that the remote speakers are about 5 inches tall. Synced nicely with Samsung tv. Disappointed by lack of aux jack for radio hookup - should have caught that before buying. I thought the rear speaker output was weak (bought a Walmart Onn 5.1 Blast and speakers have stronger output). Returned.
