I use my watch specifically for text notifications, specifically at work or when I don't have my phone on me. It's great to know when I've gotten a message! I can just glance at my wrist. The reply function works well! Holds a charge until the end of the day, but I do have to charge it every night. The waterproof option is great as well! :) ... show more

    • Just Outstanding Watch Which Should Be A Five Year Lifespan
I never bought any of Samsung's original models as there always are major feature increases for the first 2-3 models. At this point, the differences between the solid 3 and this one is marginal, but apparently there is a non-medical device EKG on this model. The sensors are great, and the BP sensor matches within 10 of my Omron device. The watch has some quirks with the App in terms of when it needs to sync, and when it uses the SIM card. I do not permit the device to access my cellular network, and it cripples certain functions that have no reason given that I am connected to a wireless network constantly. This model is stable, there are no apparent bugs, and it should last for a good five years before the average person may feel the need to upgrade. With the wireless charger: So, this watch comes with a magnetic charger, but you can also get the branded Qi charger with it. I view it as a convenience more than anything else. However, if you happen to own a Galaxy or a recent iPhone model that can use Qi charging, I feel that this is a space convenient method to charge multiple devices. The other good news is that the branded model guarantees synchronization with other Samsung devices and will not overcharge them. This charger's firmware is designed to charge without overcharging those devices to keep them healthier for longer. If you have both a watch and a phone, this is absolutely a worthwhile buy. If you have just the watch, I would get it if you were concerned about battery life but it is more a convenience than not. Considering the investment you make in good quality Samsung products, burning out the battery early would be very disappointing. ... show more

    • Good smartwatch for android users
Been using it of over a year and it's still working well. Battery lasts about 2 days with normal use(for me). Charging is quick with the fast charger I got(was included free). It has no option to wire charge it. The watch band isn't as bad as a different brand I had prior. It is easy to take the watch on and off or even replace the band. The controls and overall interface is functional. It took a bit to get fully set up as I wanted but I've not had to mess with it since. It is awkward to type and respond to messages with due to the overall size but the few times I wasn't near my phone and had to reply, it was at least possible. I thought I could control my YouTube Music and also Facebook voice or video chat, yet it seems it doesn't offer much control over either that I could find. Sleep tracking seems fine as well as heartrate sensor. The step counter is way off most of the time though. It also has no idea when I'm actually active. It will warn me that I've been sitting too long when I've been working around the house and then congratulate me for being active as I pet my cat. I don't use most of the features/functions of the watch or mobile app that I haven't already described. Still happy for what it does. Not sure I'd purchase it at full price, but did get it at a reduced price and am quite satisfied for my own use of tracking sleep, another aspect of my alarm, and knowing and previewing messages without looking at my phone. ... show more

the discription said it didnt have a charger in the box so i bought this bundle that i didnt need to buy :/ the graphics are awesome on the watch but they use a lot of battery so you have to charge it a lot.
