The pictures speak for itself, it does work. The only thing I find weird is that the left one was the first one I bought from them like maybe a year ago and the right is the new one I just got. So the one on the right I I've noticed that this one is made in Vietnam and the left is China which I find that a bit strange for the left one because I could've sworn I bought it with the actual company that sells the charger but they both are supposedly be SUPER fast charging. But overall I'm quite satisfied that its a legit super fast charging though hopefully I don't have to come back and change my review. ... show more

    • Charges S22 Ultra Super Fast
Color: White Style: 45W w/Cable Pattern Name: Wall Charger
Purchased the 45w version with USB-C cable. For note, if you plug in a wireless charging stand to this plug (also using the USB-C cable that came with mine from Samsung) it will NOT even recognize fast charge. HOWEVER, I made some calculations using other chargers. For reference, only THIS charger will be the USB-C to USB-C charger (except for THIS charger, other chargers may use USB-A to USB-C to plug into phone). All tests will be done with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and were done at the 75% battery level mark (charging does seem to slow down as you get closer to 100%) Samsung 45W USB-C Super Fast Charger: 1.08% of the S22 Ultra in 1 minute (92 min for full 100% charge). 15w USB Charger: 0.83%/minute (120 min for full charge). 10w USB Charger: 0.65%/minute (153 min for full charge). 7.5w Wireless Charging Station (no brand will be mentioned): 0.55%/minute (181 min for full charge). While the 45w charging may not seem like much of an upgrade, compare it to the 15w Fast charger I bought for my S9+, it charges 0.83% per minute. Doing the math it means that you can have your phone fully charged, with this charger, in 92 minutes (that's 30% faster than the 15w charger). More information: I only had the magnetic USB-A to Magnet cables, the use of these magnetic cables were the same charge times as their non-magnetic (plug directly into the phone) counterparts. THIS charger will ONLY take the USB-C to USB-C cable, but you may be able to use any brand cable, with this charger and receive comparable results. Having tried other brands, their notions of 'super-fast' doesn't mean that it will charge your S22 Ultra 'super fast.' I can't attest to other brands, but I can say that this Samsung 45w charger is legit and your S22 Ultra will see it as "super fast 2.0" I'll update this review when I get my phone to a lower battery charge. Hope this helps anyone else out there who wanted to see the actual real (non-marketed) benefits of these 45w chargers. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * EDIT: I tested from a lower battery power of 7-8% charge on the above devices and also added a Magnetic USB-C to USB-C Charger (brand will not be named, but has a 60w/3a rating) as well as a receptacle/outlet that has USB-C chargers included (brand also will not be named, but carries a 30w rating) ** 7.5w and 10w wireless chargers came out pretty close with 0.54-56% charge/minute (est 176-184 minutes to fully charge from 0% to 100%) ** 60w/3a magnetic charging cable plugged into Samsung 45w charger: 1.43% charge/min (est 70 minutes to fully charge from 0% to 100%) 30w/15a receptacle with Samsung USB cable (incl w/charger) plugged direct to outlet: 1.10% charge/min (est 90 minutes to fully charge from 0% to 100%) ** Samsung cable w/Samsung 45w charger (reg wall receptacle or special): 1.63% charge/min (est 61 minutes to fully charge from 0% to 100%) ... show more

This review is for the SAMSUNG 45W Power Adapter (w/Cable C-to-C), Black. You may find a knock-off 45W charger for half the price of this one or even less. However, if you were to spent as much money as a Samsung Galaxy S7+/S8+ tablet or an Galaxy S22 phone costs, I would not skimp on the charger. With the OEM, you have some assurance that it was tested and that the certifications are genuine. The S7+ does come with a charger, but it is a relatively slow one (15W Adaptive Fast Charging only). This Samsung 45W charger is significantly faster (you can find some good comparison videos on youtube). This charger gives you Samsung's "Super Fast Charging 2.0", if the phone/tablet supports it as well. The S7+ does and I usually charge the S7+ from 15% to 85% in less than an hour (I don't charge the tablet all the way to 100%). It is also downward-compatible with the Galaxy A52/A53 phones ("Super Fast Charging", i.e., 25W) and the S10+/S8 phones ("Fast charging", i.e., 15W). Having the charger only for a short time, I can't speak to its longevity yet. I will update this review should it prematurely fail. Given that it's a genuine Samsung OEM charger, I expect it to work for a very long time (possibly much longer than I will use the S7+). So far none of my other Samsung chargers have failed (some 8+ years old). ... show more

I have the Samsung Galaxy S22. It, as well as other cell phones calls for a 25W charger. If you buy a non-Samsung brand you want to look for the following features: PD (Power Delivery), PPS (Power Programming Supply) compatible, and QC (Quick Charge) at least 3.0. QC 4.0+ is backwards compatible to 3.0. Power Delivery is a handshaking protocol where the device and charger communicate and determine the optimal charging rate. Also, the latest iteration of PD, Power Delivery 3.0, enables a feature called Programmable Power Supply which further enhances the efficiency of power delivery without sacrificing your batteries' longevity. I believe it also keeps the phone from overheating while charging. If you buy a 25W Samsung charger you don't have to worry about the prior info. It's all built into their charger. If you want a smaller charger search for GaN charger. Gallium nitride charger allows for smaller chips, creating a charger small enough to keep in your pant pocket. The last piece in the puzzle is a high-quality USB-C cable. For charging beyond 60W, you’ll need to make sure you’re using an electronically marked, or eMarked, USB-C Power Delivery cable. This is important to keep in mind when charging larger devices such as laptops. You will also find that USB C charges faster than USB A. The reason is USB-C 3.0 cables are designed to carry more power than previous versions of USB, which maxed out at 7.5W.
