This is a great monitor. I have had a lot of Samsung monitors and TVs over the years, and I have been completely happy with them. This is no exception. This is my first curved monitor. The picture quality (DP) is outstanding! Ditto the HDMI. Downsides: 1) the VESA holes are in a weird place (I'd say about 1/4 of the way down), so mounting it has been an issue--bottom line, go for a taller arm. 2) it would be nice if it had more inputs. There are only two (DP and HDMI), so you're limited for inputs; 2 of each would have been nice. 3) The plugs for the cables are a bit difficult to get in, but how often do you unplug them? If that's important to you, then you should know that. That's it. Everything else was a great value for the money. Do note that I'm not a gamer. I cannot comment on that aspect. I got this monitor to use with a gaming PC. The picture quality is great. The monitor is just big enough to benefit from the curved screen. Any smaller and it would be strange. The footprint on the desk is minimal so you still have plenty of room for your peripheral devices. My only issue with the monitor is that occasionally it will blink as if it was refreshing the screen. It goes black for less than a second, then comes back almost immediately. I know it isn't my PC. So far so good. I replaced a mid-2015 iMac 27" Retina Display All-in-One. This was the third one tried when upgrading my old system. Apple doesn't offer the 27" AIO. Best Buy shipped a defective monitor, took it back, bought an open box - mistake, then got this via Amazon. So I'm relieved it's working, clear to see, seems simple to use and adjust.
