I have the Samsung Galaxy S22. It, as well as other cell phones calls for a 25W charger. If you buy a non-Samsung brand you want to look for the following features: PD (Power Delivery), PPS (Power Programming Supply) compatible, and QC (Quick Charge) at least 3.0. QC 4.0+ is backwards compatible to 3.0. Power Delivery is a handshaking protocol where the device and charger communicate and determine the optimal charging rate. Also, the latest iteration of PD, Power Delivery 3.0, enables a feature called Programmable Power Supply which further enhances the efficiency of power delivery without sacrificing your batteries' longevity. I believe it also keeps the phone from overheating while charging. If you buy a 25W Samsung charger you don't have to worry about the prior info. It's all built into their charger. If you want a smaller charger search for GaN charger. Gallium nitride charger allows for smaller chips, creating a charger small enough to keep in your pant pocket. The last piece in the puzzle is a high-quality USB-C cable. For charging beyond 60W, youโll need to make sure youโre using an electronically marked, or eMarked, USB-C Power Delivery cable. This is important to keep in mind when charging larger devices such as laptops. You will also find that USB C charges faster than USB A. The reason is USB-C 3.0 cables are designed to carry more power than previous versions of USB, which maxed out at 7.5W. The cable I just bought is KUYIOHIFI USB 4 Cable Compatible with Thunderbolt 3 Cable 100W 5A/20V USB 3.2 Fast PD Cable E-Mark. I hope this helps.

I never used higher wattage charger before but can do s21 at super fast charging in little over 1 hour dead> 100% !! Maybe best 20 bucks ever spent!!! Make sure buy from Samsung not some other 25 w that looks same but not made by Samsung!!+

The single reason why I bought it was because it can negotiate super fast charging, which I measured to charge my phone with double the power of the best USB power brick I had (5V 3A, but actually only functioned at 2.5A for some reason) In case you're wondering, cable doesn't matter unless it's absolute cheap trash. I have two USB-C cables, one is USB 3.0 and the other is unknown, but they both successfully carried the 25W super fast charge equally well.

Per Samsung, you're only supposed to use this one for the super fast charging (ensure you turn it on in battery settings / more battery settings. Used it about 5x thus far, it does what it's supposed to.

This is the fastest charger I've ever used! It's great. I can charge from dead to almost 100 percent I'm about an hour. I use it for my Samsung Galaxy s21 FE.
