I bought this during Prime Days so it was at a great price! Used it for my Disney honeymoon to put all of our junk we bought during our trip. This thing can hold A TON of stuff! Moving it throughout the airport and then from the buses and being handled a lot it held up so great! I wanted to see how it would do when we checked the bag and got it back both times, and it did SO GOOD! As expected, there were some scratches here and there but just very mild compared to some of the other bumps I saw that the air line did to other people's suitcases. It protected all of our souvenirs (we had some glass ones too!) and we couldn't be happier with it! It does get pricier without a sale, so if you're looking to buy one I would suggest waiting til Prime Days or a big sale event. Definitely worth the investment!

While packing my family for a cruise, I was working with on 3 piece luggage set and one 2 piece luggage set and during the packing process the one set, just started to fail -first the carry on and then the larger piece which left me literally 3 days before our trip to find new luggage, which was the day after Thanksgiving. I shopped, and searched and this was the best value that I could get in the quickest amount of time. The pieces are great, I wasn't sure if I would like the molded luggage, but I think I do now, plus I can get one of the protector sleeves for it so it is easy to recognize and may protect the shell a little from scuffs.

I should have ordered the prior model but decided to get the latest one. The outside looks good and held up well with minimal marking. I was concerned about the larger wheels but they handled fine. The inside is where I reduced a star. I did not notice when I purchased there was no zippered mesh divider. The hardboard divider on this model can be hooked to either side. The flexible plastic hooks may not last long, take too much time to attach (the ends catch on the fabric loops) and are down from the top making them hard to find and use. The side without the divider only has very stretchy straps that really only contain large items. Even packing cubes slip thru the straps. Every time I opened the bag I had to make note of which side was down so to not cause the content to come tumbling out. Smaller items I would have contained behind the mesh now need to be buried on both sides. The only help is the hardboard divider pockets.

I bought the Samsonite Winfield 3DLX Hardside Luggage with Spinners, 3 piece set (20/25/28), Blue/ Navy on Oct 11, 2022. I love how easily the luggage maneuvers plus the gorgeous blue color which made it very easy to spot when checked. I travel only occasionally and this was only my second time using this 25 inch luggage. Upon arrival at my destination, I was horrified to find out that it had cracked ( see picture). This was really shocking as I had only used this luggage twice. It's still in pristine condition as can be seen from the picture. It is possible that this may be some sort of manufacturing defect or that I had got a lemon? I have owned many other models of Samsonite luggages before in the past and have always found them hardy and long lasting. I am extremely disappointed with the poor quality and construction of the Winfield 3DLX model. It's really unacceptable that the hardshell can crack so easily when the luggage was only partially full. Buyers beware! I will not buy this model again. Definitely would not recommend!!!
