Thus luggage is so pretty! I absolutely love the light blue. It's not as metallic looking in person, but it's got a nice glimmer to it. It's such lovely looking luggage I was almost sad to use it because I didn't want to see it scratched. But it's hard case luggage, it's going to scratch a little. You can't really see any blemishes after my trip though and we did check bags where it got tossed around on Vans and trucks and carts. I think the light color also helps hide any blemishes it may sustain. I got the two piece set (shown here is the carry on size) and no disappointment. My husband has the same set in black/grey and it's been on multiple vacations and thus far stood the test of time without getting dented or broken. It's sturdy enough to still be lightweight and it's got plenty of room. It glides along well and moves around smoothly. The larger case is expandable. The carry on is not so just FYI. But I packed for an entire 8 night cruise in my two bags and I took SO much stuff. I look forward to many many trips ahead with my pretty blue suitcases!

This set hold up really well the wheels give a smooth ride making it so easy to navigate. I have noticed a few scuffs but unfortunately I dont think luggage is handled with even a little care at airports so would expect blemishes. I expect these to hold up for many years!

Avid Traveler (40-50 flights/yearly), working in the racing industry for an International Motor Sports Racing Series. We now own 11 of these (Win 2), all different sizes and colors. (See other review of ours that goes way back) Caught these on sale during Black Friday...wish I could purchase more and stock up before they don't offer the style anymore. The Windfield 2 series still appears to be the best Samsonite has had to offer in a hardshell poly case as far as durability, quality, ease of use and maneuverability. Can't say much about other cases they have come out with, others we know have tried them and they eventually fail in some way. One of the few brands that offers TSA locks (more for hotels and closets, we combine these with locking luggage straps that make it not worth non-invited guests to peer/poke/steal/rummage through our things.). Recently, one of the smaller orange 20" hard cases took a 60 foot end over end tumble down an escalator in the Atlanta airport. Since I had a C/O spinner attached to it, the telescoping handle didn't fare well and bent at a 30 degree angle...now it's hard to use. The coating (a film with the color) applied to the case also didn't fare very well and is repaired with some helicopter tape. The case however, shows no dents, cracks or failure, and the zippers work fine. All my fault, not the baggage handlers or the suitcase, but now it's relegated to an extra bag for electronics/checked stuff that I don't need to move about the airport with. I've covered it with a slip on geometric fabric cover and it looks like new still, we just have to carry it old-school by the attached handle to move it. We purchased the larger 28/20 combo as typically we use the 24/20/C-O spinner or 20/C-O spinner as the means to get from track to track. A trip to Europe in October made us aware that hauling 3 cases each around LHR/CDG/MXP on Delta and BA was more exercise than we wished to have before a flight. LHR is a long walk...trust me. The 28 is a perfect size to check and pack about almost what we could get in two 24's. This vendor provided UPS service in the factory box. It came with the (thin) box having a numerous amount of dings and tears, so I was surprised that the 28 case (covered in a plastic bag and a sticky film) and it's interior cargo the 20 were undamaged. I mean if it can survive airlines, UPS should be no problem, right? I can't say enough how I wish Samsonite would never stop making this, as the new Win 3 model has different wheels, a less hardy shell and a different interior. These cases are timeless and for us, they've seen so many miles and look like they've only take 1-2 trips. Clean up is easy with Goof-Off or Goop to remove the rubber skid marks and other imperfections that appear after a trip. As I said, we invested in some fabric skins to help protect the outsides in this past year, and although the do get dirty and bit ragged, at $20 a case they are a lot cheaper to replace than a $150/$250 case. We've shopped many cases in the past (Wrangler for a small spinner recently, invested in 2 and on the first trip the zipper broke. No word on that) Replaced it with the $100 Samsonite C-O Spinner and am completely happy. Most other brands have issues over the years, and 40-50 flights a year has proven Samsonite Winfield 2 to be our absolute choice.

Love this luggage! I finally go to use it on my trip to Tx and it held up great. It did get some scratches from the airline but that’s expected. Overall the color is amazing and it’s very sturdy! Will try and get photos later

The media could not be loaded. Please watch video. The suitcase is cheaply made and pure garbage. Poor value for money. It won’t last and the exterior is trashed after 1 short trip. Scratches all over that won’t come out. High sheen is a no. Wheels are garbage. Lock up, won’t spin, hard to move. Zippers are poor quality, teeth don’t align on corners. Returning this set. Small one is misleading. It’s teeny. Can’t believe Samsonite put their name on it. Do better Samsonite.
