At the time of this review, the 3-set is listed as 20/25/28. It is in fact 21/25/29. An inch here an inch there, not too big a deal?!... The suitcases are ginormous when placed next to similar-size-listed pieces. I'd use the 28/29" to relocate across the world but not haul on vacation. Second photo shows the two carry-ons side by side: only one would legally make it into the cabin as 20". Aside from being too big, these are reasonably lightweight for their size and seem sturdy - onto a trip they go next week, sans the 28/29" giant. ... show more

Overall > Great set of luggage. I do miss the side internal pockets. on all the sizes. You know that long one on the sides or the short one by the handle. Those spots were great for the small need it don't know where to put it items.

Samsonite is a great company with great products. This set of three suitcases is lightweight and durable, but has two major problems. I tried to get a hold of someone to communicate this issue, but can’t seem to get a hold of anyone. The first problem is that the measurements are off by 3 inches on all three size suitcases. The measurements say that it is approved by airlines, but when you add 3 inches to each suitcase, they are no longer airline friendly and you will have to pay extra or not be able to take it on board. The other issue is that the larger two suitcases are weak in the middle and could crush your items in the middle of the suitcase while both ends are sturdy. Seems like they measured the suitcase itself while not including 2 inches for the wheels and 1 inch for the handle. Airlines measure the whole suitcase, including wheels and handles. The measurements are falsely advertised, because even when I measured the the luggage box itself not including the wheels and handles, it is still over half an over half an inch larger than their posted measurements. Please consider their other great products if you are planning on flying. ... show more

This was the best deal I could find on Samsonite luggage anywhere. I love the color. The big suit case is great for overseas travel. The only thing I noticed is that the suit cases do not have, is the side pockets inside like some of my old Samosonite suit cases did, which I liked, but they are big enough to get everything in. ... show more
