within the first year, the top handle of my medium suitcase broke. I don't understand how or why, it only had 24lbs of items in it. and one of the wheels came off in the second year. this was after i had to get a replacement due to the first one not arriving.

Bought Samsonite luggage because I think of high quality. Unfortunately, the morning of our trip when I zipped up the carryon, the zipper split! No matter what I tried I couldn’t get it corrected. Bought the same set for our son and the same thing happened to his suitcase the next day on our trip. Samsonite says their luggage goes through rigorous quality testing. In don’t believe it! I’ve had luggage from JC Penny and never had a problem. I wanted to try the hard side for my next set. Before purchasing I read a review about the zipper splitting but thought it was probably a rare thing.
