This is a great case. It survived a 10 day trip to Japan with about 40lbs of luggage and a duffle bag on top of it. It rolls great over rough terrain. I put a few miles on mine and it held up great. It has plenty of space. I recommend it if you're on a budget.

Just got off a 7 day cruise to Alaska, and decided I needed a suitcase upgrade, as my old 2 wheel duffel would barely close on the contents, returning. The Samsonite arrived intact, big and beautiful, just as pictured. The wheels, locks, extendable handle and zippers all work smoothly, so am good to go. I've read the surface scratches, which is disappointing, but a hard case that doesn't simply does not exist, I think, as the reviews on all the other models noted they did, as well, so just have to live with it, I guess. As long as it remains in one piece, and contains the contents, with working wheels and zippers, I'll be satisfied. The lock system seems a little fragile, just being the zipper tips inserted into holes, with a latching bar running thru it. However, it's not a concern for me, as my duffel had no lock, and I never pack anything other than clothes, toiletries and a book or two, so not a prime target for potential thievery, I think. Overall, I really like it, at this point. I'm hopefully traveling to Kenya in February, and will return to edit this review when I return. ... show more

I ordered these bags after attempting the Omni PC 28 inch. The Omni was much too large for the international flights we have planned and had to be returned. The Centric in the medium size seems to be a good size to avoid oversized baggage fees, is quite lovely in the green, has the ability to expand, seems quite sturdy, and the dual wheels allow it to move smoothly. It’s a perfect fit for my husband, son, and daughter. I might have asked for just a bit more space, but overall, I’m very pleased with these bags. I should note that one of my favorite aspects is that the color will be easier to locate in airports than our previous black bags as well. ... show more

I took these to Japan and they were wonderful. Very easy to pull, push and lift. I love the built in locks. They are fairly light when empty and maximizes the available space inside. Definitely not the usual Samsonite quality. It came with a cheap cardboard box and I immediately noticed the unusual large size after unboxed. The largest one is definitely not 28" size. It looks more like 30". It's 1.5" taller than the 28" size Samsonite set I bought from Costco. The product description is definitely wrong. The most concern I have is that the top panel deformed really bad when lifting up with just two smaller empty luggages inside. Can't image how it could possibly handle the full weight. These problems were reported in the 1 star reviews.. should have listened to the real reviewers. Received today and it will be going back today. ... show more

I have taken several trips with this luggage. I like the sizes, especially that the larger one is not huge. They have held up well to airline baggage handling abuse. After one trip, there was a dent in the larger case. My husband was able to pop it back out. That was great; saving us the time and bother to make a damage claim with the airline. ... show more
