Sam Edelman bay sandals are my go-to summer shoe, easy slip on, cushioned/comfortable. Own 20 pairs, always great quality, good value especially if you catch a sale. Great selection of colors, these are casual and versatile. Typically, I stay with my normal shoe size, however, after 3 children can widen the foot somewhat, so would recommend go up 0.5 for comfort. I have many sandals and shoes from this brand. It’s my go to brand. First purchase online. The shoes arrived promptly and appear unworn and were in original box. I ordered my typical size. The sandals in my opinion appear to be a bit narrower on the very front of the foot strap. As a result, it tends to push your foot backwards out of the shoe. One, that’s uncomfortable and two it looks sloppy and you get that awful flip flop sound like from a cheapo flip flop. I’ve never had this issue with this brand sandal and I have 2 very similar pairs ( without the gold detailing). I would normally return the sandal however I’m going to try and very gently stretch the front most part of the strap across the foot in hopes that my feet will stay more forward( and be comfy). I’m only willing to try this as I’m in need of the black sandal within a few days. So hoping I have luck. The sandal is its typical leather, saturated black color, and stylish. I ordered size 7. I am 6.5-7 and these were barely long enough. Width was perfect and I would say I have wide “duck” feet.haha. Color is absolutely beautiful. No slip strip is a PLUS.
