I ripped these out of the box as soon as they arrived lol 😂 I knew they were the black knee high boots that I wanted to have as a staple in my Fall closet. They did not disappoint! The stitching is impeccable, they are buttery soft from top to bottom, they are the signature San Edelman design, the heel is perfect – it’s not clunky it’s sleek, but it’s not too high so you can wear these with pants and dresses and skirts. They are VERY COMFORTABLE!!! They are pointy - but I sized up a half so they are not squeezing my foot at all. I can move my toes around and there’s enough space for socks if I need to wear them. Absolutely beautiful boots. I am 5'2", the boots were too tall for me, they were bunchy around the ankles because they were too tall. I also didn't like that the zipper didn't go to the top.

I am a Sam Edelman fan to begin with. The quality for the price of the shoes is a stand out for me. When I purchased these, I did have to send back my typical size of 10.5. I could not get my foot into the boot. It is not giving at all when you first wear them. I had to size up to an 11 to get them on. These are beautiful boots and are packaged beautifully also, but I had to return them because that are too narrow throughout. The toe box is more narrow than most and although I have small ankles and a small calf, it was extremely hard to slip on for a half zip style boot. The ankle area was uncomfortably stiff as well.
