The stitching is impeccable, they are buttery soft from top to bottom, they are the signature San Edelman design, the heel is perfect – it’s not clunky it’s sleek, but it’s not too high so you can wear these with pants and dresses and skirts. I am a Sam Edelman fan to begin with. The quality for the price of the shoes is a stand out for me. When I purchased these, I did have to send back my typical size of 10.5. I could not get my foot into the boot. It is not giving at all when you first wear them. I had to size up to an 11 to get them on. I just received these, tried them on, and sadly they went back in the box for return. I got the tan color and I had been looking for these exact color boots forever and, yes, the color is perfect and looks the same as in the pics. The boot is beautiful and feels like high quality leather BUT the shaft hits right at the base of my knees and rubs against the front of my knees in an uncomfortable way. I’m average height and fairly long legged and have never had that issue with boots before (and I have MANY, too many, high boots). They need to be maybe 1/2 inch shorter and they would have been a keeper. I’ll be curious to see if others buyers experience this issue. Maybe if you’re tall or have long calves you’ll have no issue and love these boots but otherwise prepare for potential disappointment. ... show more
