Versatile boots for business wear. The calf profile is sleek and slim so they are wearable under straight cut pants but also look beautiful paired with a midi skirt and sweater. I am 5’6” and 145 lbs. These stop right below my kneecap and have just enough room in the calf to slide up my leg but stay in place. I am usually a size 8 and originally purchased an 8 in these boots but found the toe too short and narrow. When I sized up to an 8.5 the toe bed was comfortable and roomy. UPDATE: I was actually able to score some wide calves & compare. Please see photos- if the pic isn’t clearly marked “WIDE CALF” they are the regulars. I ended up keeping the wide version. The leather is beautiful on these but VERY stiff, so the augmented version just works/looks better on my body type. I understand some of the other reviewer’s comments bc both versions can be a bit stubborn to completely take of your feet. Maybe because they are just bottom- half zips? I cannot speak as to any of the other versions of this boot style- only the Scarlet Cherry ones seen here. I hope all of my babbling here helps someone! :) Been on an epic quest for some red statement boots and these are gorgeous and extremely well-made. My calf measures 15” at the thickest part and should have purchased the wide calf version however these were marked down to $40 and I had to. I ended up purchasing shoe stretch spray as they were bunching around the ankles. Regardless, I still love them. The heel is not too high at all and they feel stable and easy to walk in. This is a quality brand. The boots fit true to size, although I always order boots at least a half size larger to make room for socks. The best part of this boot is the fabulous rich color! It's stunning!

Very cute boot but important to shout that I am 5’0” and these boots are too tall for me, meaning they reached well into the crease of my knee making them unable to wear.
