The fragrance itself is great! It has a well-balanced pepper-forward scent, with more botanical base notes (like a powdery lavender scent). All notes have good projection, it has what I call a "harmonic" quality, where certain notes may jump forward at times, but none are overpowering. I can see this being a fragrance for someone of any age. It is definitely what I consider a "night scent". I could see this melting down into a sultry skin scent as the night progresses on a warm summer evening. Yes, it is powdery, but if you don't mind it is a great buy for a scent that is sharp on projection yet not artificial. I find that the performance is less powerdy when applied to my clothesz versus my skin. My skin brings out more of the base notes which have that powdery, sweeter smell. Now, the packaging was a little disappointing. I could smell the cologne before even opening the box it arrived in. Which gives me a concern on how long the bottle will stay good for. Additionally there are some cosmetic wear marks on the outside of the bottle as well. Overall, this is a great selection for the price point. Very high performance for what it's worth. ... show more
