I actually really liked this. I am in my 50’s so I normally do not like things with too much shimmer or glitter but I found this to be more shimmer than glitter and it worked well for my mature skin. Loved the smell as well. This was great for the summer when I wanted my legs to have more of a shine and coconut oil was just not enough. Smells so yummy an summery! The glitter is just a fine shimmer, not chunky at all. I love mixing this with my lotion after a shower. Very flattering to the skin and feels so smooth/hydrated.

    • Great Glow and Scent, But Fades Quickly and Runs Out Fast

The Saltair Shimmering Body Oil in Salt Water Vanilla is a beautiful product. The only 3 reasons I don’t give it 5 stars are because: 1. The shimmer is not very long-lasting. When I apply it before bed, most of the shimmer effect is completely gone and absorbed by my sheets by the morning. I assume pants and leggings would absorb it in the same way, but I’ve only ever worn shorts after applications during the day, and even then, the shimmer seems to fade after 4–6 hours. 2. I have to apply a lot of oil to achieve the amount of shimmer I desire. It averages about 20–25 pumps per use. 3. The 4-ounce bottle size, combined with needing a lot of product for each application, means I’m going to run out of it pretty quickly. Here’s why I like this product: 1. The glow: If you’re looking for a subtle glow and a light shimmer effect, this oil is perfect for you; apply it before a night out, while wearing a swimsuit, or when going to the gym in your favorite workout set for a beautiful gleam. 2. The scent: It’s a divine, warm mix of sweet and spicy notes. It smells like vanilla, amber, and toasted marshmallow. It pairs really nicely with tropical, woodsy, sweet, or spicy perfumes—it’s very versatile. 3. Consistency and absorption: The oil absorbs nicely and has a light, runny consistency. Because it’s a dry oil, it isn’t too thick, nor does it leave a sticky feeling on the skin. 4. How my skin feels: I’ve used this oil 4 nights in a row, and every single morning I wake up, my skin feels so soft and smooth, with no residual stickiness or residue left behind. ... show more

2 pumps covered both arms in tiny glitter specs, reflects light indoors. I like the salt air vanilla smell. Its strong at first with just vanilla but as it's soaking into the skin more of the salt smell comes through, very pleasant

Glowy, shimmery, moisturizing, smells amazing. It’s a little greasy but I like it in the summer and use it while laying in the sun. I love this body oil so much I bought it for my mom and sister as well!
