Bought these and only had a day to break them in before going on a 2 week trip to Iceland. I was doing a lot of hikes: beaches, cliffs, waterfalls, heaths, ice, wet rocks. These shoes are really all terrain, and I have been seriously impressed. It took about 3-5 days to really break in. Specifically the part where the shoe creases on the top of the foot was a bit hard and pinching but has since softened up and I do not feel the pinching anymore. These bad boys are secure, lightweight, comfortable and definitely waterproof. I even trudged through 3-4inches of mud with these and felt nothing. Very confident wearing these anywhere!

Very comfortable shoe right off the rack! Very quick to lace and unlace, so comes on and off almost as quickly as a bedroom slipper. Nice lightweight, waterproof hiking boot! Haven't had the shoe for more than a month, so can't evaluate durability yet.

It's pretty new to me/ I only have about 80 miles on this boot so far. It's light enough. It's gore tex lined so it's both water proof and a little less cool/breathable than I like. I do like the arch support The ankle support is good for me.The toe box is just big enough. I don't like the insole that came with it, but my instep is high enough that a a thicker cushion wont fit with my foot .. My only real complaint is the laces are slippery enough that it is difficult to tie I will amend this after 250 miles or so..

As a Facility Maintenance Director for our local college, I PUT SOME MILES ON MY FOOTWEAR. (5-7hrs a day) I'm here to tell you that these are the REAL DEAL. I have been through dozens and dozens of various "high-end" boots looking for something that would hold up for 12 months and retain their weatherproofing throughout the entire year. (Merrell, North Face, Keen, Carolina, Red-Wing, ect.) Have ALL came up short in one category or another. I had gotten do a point where I did not so even care about the price, I just wanted a quality pair of comfortable working footwear! I don't write reviews often, as rarely are my expectations met so easily. I'M HERE TO TELL YOU..... These have met ALL of those expectations and after 6 months of putting these through everything from rain & snow to mud & 6" water in aflooded basement... THESE HAVE SIMPLY EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS I could have for my footwear! If you are looking for a LIGHTWEIGHT, WATERPROOF & DURABLE boot.... THIS IS THEM.

I love these boots. I only received them one week before heading on a trip to Africa to hike Mount Kilimanjaro. So there wasn’t much time to break them in but from day one they were so comfortable and my group and I reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, and down in seven days. The comfort level sustained the entire trip no blisters no discomfort. The boots remained dry walking through puddles and streams. The only time a little water got through the top was during hours of rain and even that was minimal. I’m very satisfied with these boots.

These boots are really nice, but husband did not like them. They hurt his feet too much and not enough cushion for his needs. I have the same pair for women and love them so it's according to preference. They have a good toe box so gives your toes plenty of room.
