I wanted a good hiking boot to look at on the floor by my door that I wont use enough :P These fit great and feel really good. Love the way they look as well. My only isue is one of the shoelaces is shorter than the other so its harder to tie that one. Over all I love them. I only gave a 4 on comfort as I havent broken them in fully yet and my feel do hurt after wearing them for a while. Im thinking once I get used to them and they conform to my feet that should get better

These boots are lightweight, they breathe, and they are very comfortable. I have some foot pain which has subsided since wearing them. These are my new favorite brand and boot. They're durable as well.

I have not been impressed with Solomon boots recently (2023). The quality has been suspect on almost every boot I've tried. But with these, my faith has finally been somewhat restored. These are by far the heaviest Salomon boot I've tried, but they are secure and comfortable after you break them in (but they do take a while to break in -- depending on how much hiking per week you do).

Love the way the interior of this boot feels. I've hiked about 30 miles this week in them and my feet feel great (=no blisters). I really like the lacing system; clever how the no-slip hooks work! Took them out for a "wet run" and mucked around in muddy hills for a dozen miles. They are totally waterproof. They're not the lightest of boots, but the weight is fine. Excellent tread grip. Yes, they're pricey; however, they seem like a great value because I am not worried about my feet during the upcoming hundred-mile hike in the Highlands of Scotland (WHW).

I ordered these Boots and must say they far out class any hiking/hunting boot I've ever owned. The first day of use, I hiked along the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon on a short 5 mile round trip. Day 2 I hiked over 7 miles out at the Tumalo Flats Trail system. The picture attached is of the boots after both hikes. I've had Zero issues with the boots for fitment, comfort and performance. These Boots Rock! I am very pleased with them and they are just as good as the best of the Salomon shoes line up.

I think I was expecting something different. I’ve worn Solomon Speed Cross shoes for several years and I love the way they fit. These hikers? Not so much. The hikers have the same Ortholite insole as my runners, but they definitely don’t feel the same. The hikers are a lot stiffer, and yes, I get it that they’re hikers, but they just don’t feel like they wrap your foot in support like my runners do. The toe box is also really wide, which some will appreciate, but I find my toes moving around a lot, which will cause blisters. I have yet to take these out and give them a good walk, so I’ll update this review when I do. For now, I’m just not sure I love these.

First of all, they are honestly the best looking boot. I have seen on the market in a long time. So aesthetically they’re perfect. The fit is like a glove. They are slightly larger than what I normally fit into as a size 11, but I like the fact that I’ll have extra room for a larger soccer a thicker sock. There really is very little breaking in time because they’re extremely soft and flexible. This is a great purchase as far as I’m concerned.
