The product pictures of Big Tipper do not show the beautiful hologram effect of the glitter and dots against the glossy black. I’ve been doing sticker polish manis for many years; while these are not easy to work with, they are lovely. I’m giving them 5 stars just because they are beautiful and a good value. There are enough stickers for two full manis, but I did need to trim the side edges of some for my second mani. The reason these are hard to work with is because they are super thick. The thickness also made the edges lift a little after day 3 of wearing. As with all polish stickers, I always do a clear topcoat right after applying so the mani lasts longer. With these, I needed to apply a second clear topcoat on day 3 or 4 to reseal and get those edges to stop lifting. I’d get these polish stickers again; they are worth the extra effort. I saw someone note that they only work with long nails. They work with nails of shorter lengths, too. It’s easiest to apply the sticker to the nail and then file the excess sticker off. It’s easier to file it off than it is to cut it off. Also, to get any polish stickers to stick well, you need to prep nails first: Wash nails with soap, dry thoroughly, and then wipe with the included alcohol pad so that there are no oils on the nails. Then use a clear topcoat. If you do this, you should get at least a week's wear with them. ... show more

These are very pretty and easy to apply. They would probably hold up pretty well for someone who doesn't work with their hands much, but did peel and chip after only a day. When I was ready to remove them, they were sticky enough that it did take some work to get them off, but it wasn't impossible. Overall, I did enjoy them and would probably order again to use when I won't be doing a lot of work. ... show more

This is a set of Sally Hansen nail strips . This is intended to be a single set of nails, although, depending on how you use them and trim them down or if you find someone else with different nail sizes or use them as accent nails vs. a full set, you can get 2 wears from this single package, although it only comes with 1 nail “prep” pad (which is just soaked in isopropyl alcohol). The idea is you start with clean nails, wipe them down and then apply the stickers and then files or trim off the extra. Then you peel to remove them. I think this is the weakness for me personally. I know I’m a little rough on my nails, but I found once they started peeling it was more dramatic vs. nail polish where a little chunk might just come off. I really like this color combination with black and a more clear/silver tips with different sizes chunks of holographic glitter. In some ways being able to peel off the glitter is more convenient than using nail polish remover, but the problems with them peeling make them a very short term item. For me these would be nice for travel where you know you won’t have time to get your nails done, you might have a nice event and are traveling for a while and you can’t travel with nail polish or don’t want the extra risk, and so you can easily toss a set of these in your bag and then just apply shortly before the event (they do say no exposure to water 1 hour after application, so time appropriately). But these did not last long for me during normal life activities. ... show more

These are actual stickers and not semi dry nail polish, but you put them on in pretty much the same way, you just file them off. My nails look really pretty, but one started peeling off immediately. I was able to push it back in place for the most part, but it finally ripped a bit not even a day later. It's cute for the event I need them for, but I don't think I'll buy them again. ... show more

I'm a big fan of using nail strips, as they can help give me an easy manicure at home. 💅🏼 These 'Sally Hansen' Salon Effects, nail strips ( in Big Tipper) are a beautiful mix of style and glam. ✨️ I found these strips to be easy to apply to my nails, and I was able to file off the excess. I love how nice the color and shimmer looks on my nails, and they look so nice. I don't know why, but I was expecting these to be a silver glitter from the photos, but if you look carefully in the advertisement you can see a tiny bit of color… But in person, wow! Beautiful holographic glitter on a black base background. Easy to apply, comes with everything you need in the package.
