This polish in color Steely Serene goes on smooth and thick. I only needed 2 coats. The brush is nice and wide and picks up a lot of polish. As pictured, I painted all 5 nails with a clear base coat and 2 coats of Steely Serene. On the pointed finger I used Essie “Matte About You” top coat, and on the ring finger I used Sally Hansen Extreme “Strobe Lights”. I did not put a top coat on the other fingers, so you can see Steely Serene has a nice gloss finish on its own. This color would look beautiful against a darker skin tone. It’s a classy and pretty color, but it blends into my hand and washes me out a bit. ... show more

This was exactly the shade I was seeking. The polish goes on smoothly, dries fairly quickly and lasts! I had stopped doing my finger nails since I'm washing my hands 100 times a day (thanks COVID!) and the polish never lasts long. I decided to do my nails recently with the expectation they would look awful in a day or so and would need removed. It was a good 4-5 days before I noticed the tips chipping...SO thrilled! ... show more

Great nail polish color and it lasts long. I have very thin nails which peel and crack so easily. This polish made my nails feel stronger. The color is great and it applies so smoothly. Great purchase!!

I've been a loyal user of Sally Hansen for decades. This polish did not disappoint! The color looks true to me, but I am a little color blind. Either way I like it. The best feature for me is the brush. It enables me to polish just my nails, not my cuticles and fingers, which is in itself, a miracle! It goes on well and dries pretty quickly. Can't speak to longevity yet, as I just put it on. Will definitely buy again! ... show more

Sally Hansen color therapy is an excellent brand with great coverage, self leveling, and high pigmentation. I already use products that improve my nails so I’m not going to say the therapy part is super effective but I personally enjoy the idea that it might be helping some more. I particularly love this shade, steely serene, because it is the perfect nude for me. I don’t like an exact flesh tone match but it’s beautifully unobtrusive. ... show more

Run, do not walk to get this polish!! I put it on my unprepped nails and didn’t use a topcoat. It has been 7 days and it is now in need of fixing. It looked amazing for 6 days!!! The color I got Steely Serene isn’t as gray as would have liked, but it is an awesome neutral. I’m a licensed nail tech who never had time to do her own nails! ... show more
