  • Great for adhering intricate paper designs, but not perfect
Size: 6PK
I love papercrafting, and I use a lot of metal dies to cut paper shapes. They are getting more and more intricate, so it can be difficult to adhere them to a surface. These glue pens are nearly ideal. They work like a ball point pen, but have glue (blue, but dries clear) instead of ink flowing out of them. That thin tip and ballpoint style means that you get a good amount of glue without it going all over. It does dry quickly, though, so if your item is very detailed, you may find yourself going back over areas that dried before sticking down. *There's a plastic (removable) tip under the cap--covering the ballpoint. Keep it! Put it back on the ballpoint before putting the larger cap back on the glue pen. So many fine-tip glues dry out (or the glue gets clogged in the thin tip)--this one trick keeps your glue pen working as long as there's glue. It's the most affordable fine-tip glue pen I've found, and works pretty well. I definitely recommend it! Best of all--a multipack, so you don't suddenly run out (and therefore run out of luck). No one wants to have to order more and stop a project when your mojo is flowing! ... show more

  • great for detailed cut files
Size: 6PK
I use a lot of intricate dies and cut files in card making and scrapbooking...every other glue I've tried is just a mess. The ball point on this glue pen is smaller than the intricate patterns so it makes doing paper piecing a breeze. The glue does go from blue to clear pretty quickly but I've had no issues so far with things not sticking well. The photo I have included is of a Paige Evans cut file. ... show more

  • given the relatively thin line it produces these would also be great for affixing small details for card making
Size: 6PK
The media could not be loaded. These are incredible. So far I have used it to add more texture to my heat embossing projects and with foiling. I imagine, given the relatively thin line it produces these would also be great for affixing small details for card making, scrap booking, etc. Quick tips: There are two ways to use these! As the ink comes out it is blue, as it dries, it turns clear. The blue is intended to create a permanent bond and the clear more temporary. This will come up later. Heat Embossing: You can see in the video attached, that is basically creates a taller line than your traditional ink pad or embossing pen. That ink is relatively thin and the texture fully comes from the embossing powder. When you use this glue instead, it adds more dimension, creating more raised lettering, etc. You can apply heat embossing powder while the glue is still blue or once it's a bit dried (temporary) and the powder will stick no problem. Use your heat tool like you normally would, but be ware of bubbling! I noticed this a bit and think it's a result of not letting the glue dry enough after applying the powder. Glitter: No embossing powder? No problem, just use regular ole glitter. The result is really neat with little if any flaking after it fries. Foiling: I have a ton of toner reactive foil that I put to work often with my laser printer and laminator, I've never used for any other purpose until now. You can use this pen to write or draw or outline or trace whatever you want. You MUST let the glue dry. If it is still blue in any area, your foil will just smear the glue. You need it to be in a tacky sweet spot. Then just place foil over the glue, run your finger over to adhere, and peel off. If you have any missing spots you can always do touch ups with the glue pen or run the foil back over. As pictured, you can use this to add to an existing drawing or lettering project or just to be it's own thing. This is a game changer for how I use my foil sheets, much easier to use than the deco foil adhesive in my opinion. ... show more

  • Tips and Tricks, Very Satisfied!
Size: 6PK
These work really well and I'm very satisfied with how easy this is to use. It's washable glue as far as I know, and mine all run smoothly and they feel very close to Sakura Gelly Roll Pens. I don't recommend opening all of them at once (take off the little plastic tip in order for the glue to start flowing) as if you don't put on the cap well enough it will dry out and waste a entire pen. if it stops flowing, try scribbling on a piece of scrap paper. If all else fails then take off the cap and hit it on the palm of your hand gently until it starts flowing agian (if in extreme measures I wack it as hard as possible without breaking it to get the glue to the tip). If none of these work then let it rest with the clap on with the tip side upside-down. Repeat previous steps in order and it'll most likely work if the glue hasn't dried up or run out of ink. ... show more

  • Are you into foiling???
Size: 6PK
these are fun little glue pans! I'm sure many of you are asking "why the heck would I need a small, ball point pen that writes in glue???". Well, let me tell you: Foiling. Theres a hip new trend on pinterest feeding laser printed pages and some hot-stamp foil through a laminator, and voila! foiled text!! With this pen, you can add a little "hand drawn" flavor to your foiling projects. the glue comes out blue, but dries clear. Please don't judge my quick little example, I wasn't channeling my inner artist today! ... show more

  • Good batch = RELIEF
Size: 6PK
I was worried about purchasing this because I have read some people's reviews that said the pens were leaking in the packaging upon arrival or that the pens were dried out when they arrived, etc.; I figured that in those particular instances the buyers must have just received a defective batch. However, my Sakura glue pens arrived in perfect condition, and the first one I tried right out of the pack worked flawlessly. I didn't shake it or anything before testing it out on a scrap piece of vellum, and the glue came out with a very nice flow. Needless to say, I am relieved that I received a good batch, and I would highly recommend this product! ... show more

These pens work very well, especially for foiling, instead of using a laminator.

  • Excellent for small areas
Size: 6PK
Good glue with a fine tip for small areas. When removing the outside cap, there is a very tiny cap covering the actual tip of glue stick. The tiny cap is very easy to lose. So wipe tip to remove glue from previous use.
