  • This product has a thick base, good finish, easy to clean
Color: Black Size: 2.5 Quart
The product is a great product in terms of sturdiness, ease of use, and convenience. I don't have too many complaints about it. Two of the things that I have had problems with regarding this product are as follows. The first is its side handles. The side handles are too small. Sometimes I tend to lift the hot side handles with my hands like with other utensils that I have and end up burning myself. Another complaint is that over time the screwed-on lid slowly loses grip and you have to re-screw it. ... show more

  • Requires assembly
Color: Black Size: 2.5 Quart
Great little pot but didn’t expect to be screwing together the handles with a screw driver. Annoying

  • Very balanced cooking and great popcorn cooker with induction!
I prefer induction cooking and this does a perfect job. Probably the same with other methods. Maybe the best pot I ever bought. Here is the downside. I like the see through top. However, don’t clean it in a dishwasher or submerge it in water. The handle will get full of water. That probably includes the side handles on the pot. Here is the upside for me - I don’t clean non-stick anything in a dishwasher, so I don’t care. ... show more

  • Good pot, but hot…
The pit is very good and spacious. The only issue is the the handles are getting very hot and one needs a pot holders to be able to pick it up. Tru are made out of plastic. Shouldn’t they be cool to touch? None of my other pots with plastic handles had this issue

  • One handle traps soapy water which leaks onto hand when grabbing dry pot
The problem of one handle trapping soapy water which leaks onto hand when grabbing dry pot presents a problem when you've just chopped food to cook and are ready to put by hand into pot but wind up getting soapy water on hand which requires rinsing the soapy hand. Trying to determine whether the handle or the metal surface may be defective and not allowing the handle to seal properly. It seems like a sturdy and othersie well-made pot but it heats up on our induction plate less efficiently than the the 4.5 quart non-stick one we've been using for years but haven't had the Sakuchi long enough to decide whether this may an issue. FOLLOW-UP Switching the handles seems to have resolved the problem or at least made it not noticeable as it was before the handles were switched, so something to keep in mind should the same thing happen to you. Noticed someone commented they had a similar experience with the handle on the lid, so not sure what they could do about that since there's only one handle for the lid. Leaving the 3-star rating the same since without the problem the star rating should be higher but that's offset by having had to take time to resolve it. ... show more
