This is still a preliminary review (Updated 12-22-23) I have yet to check the blue tooth operation. I am using the optical arc connection. My objective was to add deeper bass and volume without distortion for a 24 in LED kitchen TV. The Saiyin does the job. This small soundbar outperforms the TV volume & bass hands down. That said, if you want to increase or decrease the treble, you have to do this on your TV sound settings AND obviously continue to use your TV speakers with the soundbar. It works well with my TV. The con's .... the remote. You can't pair it or use a universal remote to reduce the remotes. 3 remotes on a kitchen table is crazy. There are movie, music & news buttons but I hear no change in sound when using these. I will evaluate further but so far, I like. Worth the money. ... show more

I would like to thank customer service from this seller, they sent a replacement to me very quickly and the unit works perfectly. I would recommend buying from this seller. The sound is full and even sounds louder then other units, you can break it down to two speakers or one sound bar. This means you can use this unit either way. I mean you basically get what you pay for, sounds good for the price but constantly cuts out at lower volumes. Bass is decent, highs could be higher. If you aren't looking for much but better than the TV speakers you can't go wrong with this, just know that the sound will cut off on you from time to time. I'll be returning mine. ... show more

This is the 3rd speaker I have tried out n 3 months. The last speacker I got that was this size was so low. I sent that back the same day I received it. This speacker IS AMAZING. It’s so loud for it to b small. Even the 1 I just sent back that was bigger had nothing on this 1. The room shakes lik n a theater. I love it. Was very scared to get cuz the size but read a few reviews that had nothing but good loud nice things to say about it. I love it ... show more

My overall rating is a 4 due entirely to the instructions provided, which I found a bit overwhelming and frustrating. Simple, easy to understand and right to the point "Quick Start" setup instructions would be very helpful...THEN following with the intense instructions in case a person needs it would be great. As far as the sound bar goes....the quality and sound are top notch....ONCE you figure out what is truly a very simple set up! I bought this for my 86yo mother who is having issues hearing her TV. I am trying it out at home first to make sure it will work as she will need it to. However....i spent most of my Saturday struggling with connecting this and getting any sound at all out of it. :-( I have two newer TVs and couldn't seem to get it to work on either TV. The instructions are in light print and seemed a bit overwhelming. I checked troubleshooting and nothing fixed the issue. After getting very frustrated, I finally figured out that the MIC input jack is on the SIDE, NOT on the back with the DC jack. (I had the MIC cord plugged into the jack on the back instead of the MIC jack on the side.) I **thought** I was following the instructions...the best I could tell...but obviously not. I didn't catch the error re: MIC jack initially because I was scanning the instructions for "how to use" thinking my issue was operational. End result is that I'm very happy with the sound quality and think my mother will be too! Aging and losing her hearing has been difficult on her and it is my hope that this sound bar will increase her enjoyment of TV again. ... show more
