this is the second time i've bought this table (only had to buy a 2nd time because the first was stolen). the table is beautiful, sturdy, and easy to assemble. i also love how the instructions are friendly and encourage alcoholism (not sarcasm). the packaging contains minimal plastic, no styrofoam, and wasn't too heavy. it even comes with gloves so you can assemble without smudging the glass. highly recommend for a mid century look ... show more

So i really like the look of this coffee table. the amber glass is a very mid century twist on a standard modern clear glass table. the gold painted legs are tapered and elegant looking. like any glass table, dust and finger prints can be a problem. assembly was easy enough. the table is pretty heavy due to the glass top and the legs come to this really fine point which makes it really hard to move around without a second person. this is maybe a very specify issue that only I find important, but I am used to quickly and easily pushing the table aside to do tons of stuff, like crafts, puzzles/games, exercise, and most importantly VACUUM. first of all, since it's so heavy because of the glass which is only held onto the table with suction cups, when you need to move it, you have to lift by the legs or bottom shelf. well, since the bottom shelf is made of cheapish MDF board, I feel nervous lifting it because it almost feels like the board will rip out of the screws. instead of plastic furniture sliders, it came with these tiny, grippy non-slip stick ons that are EXTREMELY effective so it's almost impossible to slide it around tile/wood. (maybe that's what you want - if so, this table is for you!) because the feet are so tiny and pointy, I couldn't find any appropriately sized furniture sliders so on the carpet, it catches and drags the rug around when you try to slide it. consequently, if you want to move it and you're alone, you have to lift the very heavy table and try to balance it in one leg and pivot it toward where you want it to go. God forbid you have anything resting on the table while you do this. overall, it's a great table if you always have a helping hand or you never plan to move the table. ... show more

In trying to be thrifty in decorating a downstairs living room this Well Built, solid and stable table goes perfectly with my mid-century modern It was easy to assemble, took me about a half an hour. Box that it is shipped in is heavy and some people may need a helper to left it. For the money, I would say it’s a very good value. Wood laminate is a little shiny. But if you want to be particular, you could replace it with a piece of real wood, which I think I might do. ... show more
