I have had neck issues for years and have tried other pillows designed for neck support. This one has a totally unique shape that I had never seen before but I find it extremely comfortable. The center portion of the pillow has a depression that if you are a back sleeper really cradles your head with a sort of ramp that protrudes down to support the back of your neck. I though am a side sleeper and lay towards the edge of the pillow. The way the pillow is shaped I can slide my arm underneath the edge of it without causing the pillow to lift up placing my head at an uncomfortable angle. The pillow is made out of a memory foam that is soft and cradling no matter what part of the pillow you are laying on. So far I really like this pillow more than any other ones I have tried. It does come with a removeable cover which I haven't tried washing yet, hopefully I will be able to get it back on once washed. I feel that anyone with neck problems would benefit from this pillow so two thumbs up! ... show more

UPDATE: the pillow case snags at the slightest thing. This is from a necklace with a smooth lobster claw clasp that I wear daily with no issues to clothing or anything else. Because a regular pillow case does not fit over the pillow, this is what I have to live with looking at now. Very disappointing. This is probably my third or fourth memory foam pillow but this is the one with the most odd “shape”. I was convinced by all the other customers reviews who also wake up with neck pain. IT REALLY works! There is something about the “tail” or the “stump” at the bottom of the pillow that cradles and supports the part below the curve of my neck and top part of my back that really makes a difference for me. I’m hoping I’ll learn to sleep on my back more with this pillow so I wake up with less pillow creases on the sides of my face. The only thing I don’t like about this pillow is that I can’t put my silk pillowcase over it. The netted area on the either side of the head cradling center part is kind of scratchy and not soft like the center part. The texture is weird for a pillow and keeps waking me up when I brush against it. ... show more

    • Comfortable and helps align my head and neck
When I originally received this pillow I positioned it the wrong way and was wondering why my neck hurt so bad. After randomly flipping it around I realized my mistake there. This pillow does in fact help support my head and neck well, I have no issues with that at all. It's comfortable enough regardless of the angle I decide to fall asleep on. The one thing I didn't like though is that this pillow doesn't sit high enough for. I only need it a little bit higher, so used a low level pillow to elevate it a little bit more. That does help with increasing the comfort for me, but I have to offset the two pillows slightly to avoid over-extending my neck. Aside from that this is a really good pillow and I recommend it for anyone experiencing neck pain or looking for better alignment while sleeping. If it's not high enough for you though, pick up a thin pillow from Amazon to help with the head elevation. ... show more

I got this for my husband who has neck and shoulder pain. He used it for a couple of nights but ended up going back to his original pillows. He said it was OK if he were able to sleep in the same position all night, but every time he would turn or move, it took a lot of readjusting to get comfortable again. I decided to try it for myself, and I had a hard time finding a comfortable position on my side. It was very comfortable while laying g on my back, but I'm mostly a side sleeper. I think for someone who mostly sleeps on their back, this pillow would be really comfortable for them. It is very soft and stays cool- which I loved- but it just didn't work overall for me. ... show more

Unique shape for back and side sleepers . I would say medium soft . It fits a queen size pillow case . Check the measurements if you have narrow shoulders this could be too tall for you . For the price it’s excellent.

This pillow is designed to give you a better night's sleep. It works well for the most part. It helps your neck/head align for comfort. The shape of the pillow allows for you to sleep comfortably on your back or side. It has a shape that allows you to rest your arm, but my arm did not feel fully comfortable sleeping that way.     • New favorite style of pillow!
It can be sooooo difficult to find a decent pillow that ticks all the boxes. Now, I'm not saying that this pillow is perfect, because that's impossible (or at least highly improbable), and I try to be realistic. That said, this pillow definitely does tick at least a lot of the boxes for me, personally. It's comfortable, and I like the different height options, depending on which side you're using. The divot in the center is a nice touch for side-sleeping, because then you don't feel like your ear is being suffocatingly smashed up against the side of your head as you try to sleep. Now, the unique shape and cutouts are taking some getting used to, but I'm finding it does make for more comfortable arm positioning. Overall, initial impressions are good so far, but I've only used it for a few days, so we'll see how it does over time. Also, side note - Anytime I order pillows, bedding, linens, stuff made of foam, etc., I always have at least some nagging concern about whether or not it might have funky or unpleasant smell. At least at first, even if it fades. With something like a pillow that you can't wash and your face is going to be all up in, that's a very important factor. Happily, I can say that I have noticed ZERO smells, unpleasant or otherwise, from get-go. ... show more
