Ok so recently divorced in was in need of a change of scenery. My ex had picked out this expensive maroon colored duvet back in 2000, which was not only ugly imo, but not soft and rather itchy. This duvet is super soft, comfortable, easy to put over my down comforter, and the foot area stays in place (other duvet would slide off bed) The duvet has strips of fabric to hold the bottom in place, sadly it does not (least i do not think it does from what i could reach into) any strips of fabric to tie the top part of the duvet. This results in the top part of my comforter from slipping down the duvet cover by a foot or so. In the end, despite that one fall back, I am thrilled with this purchase and if I had a choice for a do over, I would have still bought this exact one.
