    • Great For Chicken Coop
We live on a farm and have one hen who likes to escape and eat our garden produce. We have clipped her wings and have done everything else to try to stop her, without success. Using this bird netting, and wrapping it high around the chicken coop run has been a life saver for our garden. It has stopped the hen from escaping and has protected our garden produce. This bird netting isn't the strongest product available, yet it is tough enough to stop a hen from escaping. Easy to use product. it comes in a one foot high roll, you simply roll out the length that is needed, cut it off, and then unfold the product to its full height. This is not a fencing that will hold up against deer,but it will slow them. I am using it to keep neighbors chickens out. After 3 years of them I do not have a flock in my yard!.     • Good- as long as nothing pushes against it.
we put the netting around and under our coop to help prevent nocturnal predation. we thought it was a easy enough solution. and the price was right. however, within that first night pack rats tore it to shreds. seeing how easily the rats tore through it I imagine if a bobcat, raccoon, or coyote wanted to get in there that this netting would cause very little in the way of prevention. probably useful to keep things that aren't going to press against the fence in an enclosure, but overall I would go with something more sturdy of a higher quality. honestly I'm not even sure that it would hold a chicken if the chicken tried to push through it. ... show more
